I was wondering if I could implore some assistance.

I have offered to help with the arrows, but, I must admit to being more optimistic than anything. I have no clue how to shoot a bow and arrow. Is there someone who could help me learn? I do not wish to harm someone from my lack of knowledge.

Also, I am not entirely familiar with this holiday everyone is preparing for. I would not mind knowledge on that as well.

Please excuse me, but... I only just arrived. Can you please explain what you mean by "help with the arrows?" If you're just looking for someone to teach you to fire a bow, I have some knowledge of that.

And I think the holiday that comes up this time of year is Valentine's Day. It's traditionally the day for girls to give chocolates to the people they have affectionate feelings for. Then, a month later, on White Day, the people who received gifts and chocolate give gifts and chocolates back.

Well, it was a quest, you see, to help this company test a product that is delivered by means of an arrow. I was perhaps too ambitious in my acceptance as I have no experience with such equipment.

Valentine's Day? [Being raised in the woods made for little knowledge of Saints and their holidays.] Oh, what a sweet tradition. I have not heard of either of these. I actually have never had chocolate either. [Being before the conquest of the Americas means no chocolate for the princess.]

Yes! I believe it's named after an old Christian saint, but I can't say I know very much more about the history of it than that.

You should definitely try chocolate, it's delicious! Even if you buy it for yourself, instead of having someone give it to you.

I would always have to get it myself, I imagine. I've no one who would give me chocolate, certainly not here.

If you don't know how to shoot, you're more likely to hurt yourself than somebody else... I'm no professional, but I've used 'em a bit. Definitely a lot easier once you just go for it, instead of worrying about all the details.

I have no idea how to use a bow, but I am familiar with the holiday that's coming up. It's called Valentine's Day. Some countries may have different ways of celebrating it, but in general, it's a romantic holiday for couples. Although, nowadays people don't just restrict it to romantic love anymore. Friends can send Valentine's Day gifts to each other to show their appreciation.

People who are single don't have to miss out either. Usually after Valentine's Day, a lot of chocolate goes on sale since they want to get rid of the Valentine's Day leftovers.

The holiday is Valentine's Day, named for Saint Valentine of Rome. Third [He doesn't sound so sure, you know these all run together eventually.] century bishop, I think he was? I won't go into the terrible details of his martyrdom, but as the patron saint of love, devotion, and other such things, his day is generally observed in the form of romantic gestures.

Of course, some devil thought it a good holiday to commercialize. Hmph. But it's still very sweet and people exchange heart shaped candies and cards with hearts or cupids on them. Often times there's roses, everything's in red and pink. It's a lovely, indulgent day for celebrating romance.

I cannot truly say if I've taken an interest. I've not tried it, I won't until I know how to be safe around something as dangerous as a bow and arrow.

Certainly, that is true, but I would need to save for a bow, quiver, and arrows. [She knows THAT much about archery.]
