Attention healers! Are you unable to make it to an expedition with your friends? I've figured out an awesome way to make a healing feast for large groups! Start with-- ta-da!

[ He holds up a hot dog ]

One regular hot dog! [ He puts it in a bun, then covers it in an evenly distributed drizzle of ketchup and mustard and a jalapeno relish. ] I like it hot, but you can use regular relish too. Make sure that you don't put too much though, there's a lot of water in it and it can disrupt the process. Don't put anything chunkier than relish in though or you'll lose the hot dog consistency! You want roughly these portions, then put it in the grindy bowl.

[ He puts the assembled hot dog in a pestle and mortar... and starts mashing it up with the pestle. ] Mash it into a thick paste, then roll it up into a hot dog like so and cast your most powerful healing magic on it while you do... [ He rolls it up.. into a new hot dog? Then cooks it in a skillet. Then puts it into a new bun. ] Then repeat the process until it's as many servings as you want it to be.

[ And so proceeds the video with Taichi just... mashing up and reforming a hot dog and cooking the new hot dog in a skillet... about 15 times... until he has no more room in the mortar and has to plop it onto a the kitchen counter. He mashes it into a volcano shape and plops two eggs in the center.... ]

If you get to this big, you have to add eggs to keep it together! If you don't have any really strong healing spells, add another one here too. [ Then he KEEPS GOING.. until it's roughly the size of a pound cake. Since he doesn't have anything to say, he puts this song on so that you know how glorious what is happening is?? This is amazing. It only cuts out when the final form is formed. ] Then it's best to put it in the oven for the final stage and you can use a brioche loaf for the final bun if you're feeling fancy, or any loaf will do!

[ Yes, Taichi is feeling fancy.

He puts the "hot dog" into the oven and while it finishes up, he takes out a loaf of brioche bread... and proceeds to cut it longways through the middle, parallel to the table, leaving the very edge uncut so it's like a hot dog bun made of an entire loaf... The video cuts to him taking the loaf out of the oven, putting it on the brioche bun. He proceeds to load it up with jalapeno rings, onions, and liquid cheese on top. ]

Don't forget to top it off with some vegetables so it's healthy! You can slice it and distribute it for an easy way to spread your healing spells out and feed an army! I'll be trying to make some for the journey ahead, so try it out if you see it!

Oh, both sound good.. Spicy, but not like, crying spicy. Definitely more than mild! Oh, what if you use jalapeno-cheddar dogs?

That does sound like an idea. The cheese will all a bit of richness to it as well. Maybe if one wanted, a little sweetness to balance it out.

Sweetness? Heh, I'm a big fan of savory so the more hm... "Umami"? Right? The better!

[ He's not really sure about the phrasing, he's not great at cooking. Definitely not a gourmet. But he thinks Omi mentioned something about umami once or twice and he does listen to Omi. ]

That would the right word. Though that does explain why you would enjoy doing that to a hot dog.

[Not that Jade doesn't like meat. Naturally, he does. Which is why for his next suggestion...]

Maybe you could add a little... sea food flair to it. For some bit. Like something similar to Takoyaki?

[ He has already had the octopus crisis with Azul, at least, so he doesn't panic at the idea of eating seafood. ]

...To the curry bread or the loaf? It'll work with either... Ah, why don't you come over to Fleur? The castle was built with a professional kitchen since it was supposed to have a professional chef, so it's got everything you could ask for, I think? We can make all kinds of curry bread and loaves together!

[Bad ideas. There's a reason Floyd and Azul don't let him in the kitchen too often.]

[ Taichi is not anyone to stop bad ideas in the kitchen. This is going to be the most disaster. ]

[There is a dig in there, but he is amused at the idea of being given potential free reign.]

Hehe, my ideas may not be good ones all the time, but they're always interesting!

[ It's okay, Taichi has no problem digging at himself. ]

Then isn't that the most important quality at all? To be amusing.

[He's actually sincere here. No wonder Azul's been trapped into friendship by this guy.]

Is it? [ He laughs, a little nervously. ] I guess since I'm an entertainer, in that sense, you're definitely right. I hope you'll say the same about my acting if you get the chance though.

Acting? Hmmm, I wouldn't have thought it, but hopefully, I will get to see it then. I wouldn't think you were someone who had any ability in that field though.

Yeah.. I really don't look like the type huh? I'm not tall or handsome or super cool or anything like that... but! When it comes to acting, it's like something that I have to do, you know? And I think I'm pretty good at it! Autumn troupe's plays get good reviews, and I've been lead or co-lead a couple of times now, and my old troupe leader even came to recognize me.

[ Which was a big boost for his self-confidence. Taichi is a hard worker, sometimes to the point of overworking himself and stressing everyone else out because he doesn't believe in himself. But he's gotten a lot better about it, and has proved to himself (and others) that he's worthwhile as an actor. He may still have dips in self-esteem, but.. ]

You could say tragic death scenes are actually a "specialty" of mine, you know! Isn't that even more shocking?

[ TSUZURU KEEPS KILLING HIM OFF... ]

So is it more like plays you do instead of films? And how long have you been at it? Forgive me if I am curious. I have an upper classmate back home who is a very famous actor, but he can be very reserved sometimes.

[More like Vil wisely holds him at arm's length.]

Oh my, I can actually believe it. You seem like the type to convincingly come to a tragic end.

Yeah, theater! You should stop by Kaika Theater sometime. We have al ot of members from my home theater mixed with people from other worlds, it's really cool. For me... it seems like a really long time. I'm not that old, so it isn't really more than a few years, but in middle school I begged my parents to let me go to acting school.. then as soon as I was old enough, I joined the top troupe on Veludo Way. Which.. didn't go well. I didn't really start blooming until I infiltrated Mankai and realized that was who I wanted to be, not... not the kind of person who hurts others to get what I want. If I keep working hard, I'll get there. I've already come a really long way. There are all kinds of actors though.. you should mean Tsumugi-san! He's more reserved and classy than me, for sure!

[ Is that a compliment? It sounds like it's not, but he's... decided to take it that way!! ] Well, I'm good at acting like it anyway!

[He does have some guts then. He will hold off on asking about what Taichi means by hurting others because realistically everyone does.]

It sounds like you have been on quite an adventure. I might have underestimated you just a bit.

[The cheerful ones are sometimes the most difficult to deal with, so he needs to make a note of that.]

I shall have to visit sometime and see precisely what your group is getting up to. And to see this acting of yours.

Well, I did at first and then it's more like they infiltrated this thick skull of mine.

[ It's not something he's really proud of, or anything that required skill. Though he didn't really get caught so much as guilt overwhelmed him because despite that he's capable of doing sketchy things, he doesn't want to hurt anyone else. Especially people he grows to love. ]

Yes please! Hehe, it's okay to give me your honest opinion too! I can't get better if I don't know what's wrong!
