Ah, yes. My favorite time of the day. The eerie dusk.

[It's probably not even dusk when he posts this, but the recent events have made it calamity dusk for a while... how joyous.]

They sure weren't kidding when they said Solstices are important. I wonder how we'll have to fix this one.

Oh, you weren't there? It was a pretty wild ride. First we went down into a lava cave, where we had to exchange something personal with someone else and throw it in, and later on we ended up in an underwater lake of sorts. That's where everyone sooner or later felt compelled to sing or hum or swim-dance.

[Usually he'd probably say that with some disdain - being dragged into a musical number isn't his idea of fun either -, but back then it felt so serene. He spent the time talking to a woman he never saw before or afterwards, but even now he still remembers the melody of her song.]

It might end up being something completely different this time around, though. I just hope we can actually fix this, otherwise things won't be looking up.

Considering we're fixing the fact we didn't do the ritual, I'm pretty sure it will be quite different yeah.

[Maybe less Lava, less singing and dancing at least.]

Who's being pessimistic now? I'm sure it'll be fine.

[He can't help but grin wearily. They keep doing a lot of damage control here, don't they? But the aversion of the calamity takes priority above all else, even over the important summer solstice.]

I'm not sure if it'll be fine, given the ups and downs we've had, but yeah, worrying won't make it better. Whatever the task is going to be, we'll do our best.

[Without his optimistic Commander around he tends to slip into a bit of a bitch-and-moan mode (while still giving it his all regardless)... he should be more mindful of that.]
