I want to hear about the creation of the worlds of the people here.
[It's that cat again. His bright eyes are sharp on the screen, giving the impression he's really looking at anyone who happens to see his message and respond.] Whether it be myths or known fact. I'm interested to know it.
[Perhaps it's simply part of his way of 'caring' about more things than himself. To say nothing of the typically brusque way that he delivers his query.]
For my own, life capable of independent existence was brought into being by seven of nine beings known as the Bright Shiners - the first Free Magic beings to develop conscious thought. [He pauses a moment, considering.]
As for why, I'm not certain even now. Vanity, perhaps. What other reason is there to create life in such a way?

[The world he was from is crazy, you never know.]
We might have been on our way to find the answers to that, among other things... but I've been away from that world for years now and frankly, I don't really care to know at this point.

Are they crazy because they believe this 'Founding titan' is a god, or do they believe it to be a god because they are crazy?
[Important distinction.]

[They're all kinds of crazy??]
The thing is, someone has to be the titan. All titans are originally human back home, so who they're actually worshippping is a human inside a monster - who has no will of their own because the memories of the past owners of the titan cloud their mind. They don't even know what they're worshipping because the person in the Founding can't tell them anything about the world we live in.
[... yeah, his world isn't alright.]

What are Titans, exactly? I can't help but feel I'm missing vital context.
[He thought it was simple; apparently it is NOT.]

They're monsters, to put it simply. They prey on humans, eating them when they see any. They leave everything else untouched, most of the time. Smallest are two meters and largest normal titans are ten meters tall.
[It's still relatively simple.]
Most of them are mindless creatures that don't hold an inch of humanity anymore, but all of them used up be normal humans. It's what you'd consider a fate worse than death, ending up as one. The only way you can return to your former self is by eating someone who possesses the ability to willingly turn into a titan... That we call titan shifters. They have control over their titan forms.

Then this drive to consume humans... perhaps a basic instinct to find one of these shifters?
[Or simply hunger, but if that is so then the blind focus on humans makes less sense when there would no doubt be other food that would not fight back so fiercely.]
no subject
[Ah, the simple times of thinking titans were just titans and wanted to eat them for sport. He kind of misses being that ignorant.]
no subject
[Yanno. Like humans. Though pointing that out would not be fair or helpful, so he decides not to say it.]
And no one knows where they came from to begin with, I take it?
no subject
No. It's probably what we were meant to go find out, last I was in that world.
