[The cat on the screen might be familiar by now. He sits primly with both paws neatly side by side and his tail curled around him, the tip lightly flicking up and down.]
I did wonder what I was doing here at all, to begin with. [He says. The statement has the air of someone continuing an earlier conversation, though he hasn't made many outreaches on the network at all.] Summoned to another world to save a hundred others? I had no care for my own world, let alone this one or anyone else's.
[The bell that usually hangs on his collar - for those who are well-acquainted enough with the feline to notice - is now missing, though the green tear-shaped pendant is still present.]
I cared not a bit for Geardagas, either. The sheer audacity of pulling me about the multiverse like a toy is not something I have ever come to appreciate from these places that seem to 'need' my presence. [But then... Mogget looks thoughtful, as much as a cat is able to make such an expression.]
I wonder if I was too harsh in my evaluations. If multitudes of worlds and the people in them may be worth the effort after all. [His ears twitch.] Even the worst of them, if it means also saving the best, no?

[With all of it he can at least concede that last point. If they want to get through all of this then they need to do something, or at least most of them do. Towards the end of his time in Geardagas Mogget had found himself venturing on expeditions he would not have considered attempting upon his arrival there...
He has shown about as much interest in Avalon's plight until recently, and would claim it was only curiosity that had led him to head out on various quests here. Maybe it had been more than that.]
We can only be expected to help within the limits of our own ability and experience. Asking us for more than that would be entirely foolish. [Mogget sniffs slightly.] I never think much of the leadership of these places, but I believe they at least understand that much.
[His eyes narrow a little, pupils briefly dilating.]
A pity that our native powers are as equally bound here as they were on Geardagas. Especially when I'm feeling so much more inclined to be helpful.

[There's so much happening all the time.]
Anything I could've done back home would be extra useless here, so I guess that's one benefit to having to learn... But it would be way easier if the people who are like, crazy powerful or gods could just, you know. Do their thing. I'd be a lot more confident in our ability to save all these worlds if that was possible.

[Even if everyone understood every nuance of what was going on here he expects there would still be arguments about it. No avoiding differences in opinion.]
But you're not wrong about that... someone who, for example... had the power of creation at their fingertips? Might find themselves being a useful asset here. [But then Mogget makes a small motion that looks like a shrug.] Though far be it from me to make any sweeping judgements on how things are run here. I'm quite sure that King Arthur has no say in anything involving how we're brought here to begin with.

[Their job got a fair bit of government funding, so they're well aware political disagreements will always be inevitable. Multiverse shenanigans are just going to make things even more complicated.]
Creation? Yeah, I'd say that would be pretty helpful, but I'm sure you don't know anyone who's capable of that.
[A very curious cat, isn't he... But Bailey isn't going to press. If Mogget's not going to outright say "yeah I'm crazy powerful", Bailey's not going to make him say that.]
I'm more inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt than the people back in Geardagas, yeah. Or at least more inclined to believe the powers that be that brought us here and changed up all our powers and gave us new, fresh magic is not something that was done by design. Kind of makes things harder for him, to have so many newbies running around, y'know?

Mm. My opinion of King Arthur and the Fae Queen both has not quite sunk to a level comparable to that I had of the leadership of Aefenglom before I left it.
[What a rabble that had been. He would have been amazed if any of them had been capable of making an actual decision without dragging the offworlders into it.]
But I'm sure there's time for that. In the end I cared more for the others like myself than anything those people might have wished of me.

[They're not sure how any of those cities in Geardagas functioned, but. It was a weird place over all. Much nicer to be in Avalon, where they don't need to bond with people to keep from going absolutely apeshit.]
Well, as cheesy as it is, it's probably for the best for us all to like... try to stick together more than not at all. Nobody that was born here will understand the shit that comes with being dragged through the multiverse, but also it's just... kind of nice to make friends, I guess. Especially when it's us that have to do the whole banding together to save the world song and dance.

[The cat's eyes lid slightly as he considers their words. Friends, hm..? He supposes he's come across a couple of people during his time travelling across the multiverses that he might consider 'friends'. He does not use that word lightly.]
I won't argue against the benefits of 'sticking together' under these circumstances. [Mogget agrees after a few moments.] I have seen it play out in far more positive ways than if someone decides to... how is it that you people say it... 'take the ball and run with it'?
