Is this working? I tried a couple times to make sure it works, but this is still pretty different.

[The little girl on screen is frowning while looking at her device, until finally she clears her throat, takes a deep breath and...]

AAAAAAAAHH!!!!!!!!!

[Clearly she is a perfect model of calm and composure in a crisis.]

WHERE IS DOLLY?!?! I NEED DOLLY!

[She takes... several deep breaths after her screaming... and then says quite a bit more calmly...]

Also... does anybody have any cake? I haven't had cake in over a thousand years.

Um... Actually I'm not sure! It's been a really long time! I'm going to say... eight?

Eight isn't a very long time.

I'd probably ask more politely if you want to get something done.

[She dusts herself off, does a cute and fancy little curtsy, and gives the warmest of smiles.]

Screaming isn't polite. It also doesn't produce results.

I said please! And screaming is the best way to be heard by the most people at once! It definitely produces results!

[She wanted to call him a poopy head or something of similar degrading fashion, but that also wouldn't be terribly polite and she's trying to showcase how polite she can be even in the face of adversity.]

Maybe if you weren't so stubborn you'd be a bit more helpful and less condescending?

[Nope... she's still failing at being polite despite her best efforts. She just doesn't like him very much it would seem. Then again it could simply be she's still upset about her missing Dolly.]

Tone is important, too, you know. I'd be more helpful if your tone sounded like you'd actually be grateful for the help.

Look... What's this dolly look like anyway? Blond? Lacey dress? Maybe some one fished your dolly out of the lake and they don't know where to send it.

[In her defense, there aren't too many people who are older than a ghost who's been dead about a thousand years or so... and it's hard to say exactly how long she stayed by Dolly's side during her magic sleep.]

[... uh oh Crowley, prepare for her to gush a little.]

Milady is a fair haired damsel with cream colored hair with a tinge of pink, and the frilliest and most elegant of lacy dress! She wears a tall black silk top hat with a fashionable bat accessory. She wears her hair in waist length twin-tails and has the most enchanting violet eyes.

[Siiiiiiigh~]

She's so dreamy.

I'd be surprised if I wasn't.

[ Were there ghosts around before humans began? Maybe it's like that chicken and the egg and which came first question. ]

That's a very unusual sort of doll. Where did you pick it up some curio shop in Japan?

[To be fair, she's not exactly from Earth, so humanity might be older where she's from? Although probably not.]

What? Oh no, no, Dolly's not just some sort of play thing, she's human.

[Now there's the question of whether or not Pico believes her Doll is a real girl, or if there is in fact a real girl named Dolly that she's looking for.]

A human named Dolly? Not... a cute little girl's plaything.

[ A beat. ]

She has a name, I just had a hard time saying it when we first met, so she let me call her Dolly when she was a little girl, and I've called her that ever since!

[That bit about a boy's plaything makes Pico smirk just a little bit.]

I like you, you've got good taste.

[Well the sunglasses and leather jacket were very stylish, but mostly the no judgement on the dolls thing, the complimenting her tantrum, and trying to help her find her friend were the main reasons.]

[ He has raised a little boy before, he knows how they can be. And honestly, who doesn't like a cute doll? Compliment accepted!]

That actually makes sense.

[ And he was surprised by that. Some how he hadn't thought it would but then he had visions of a living doll wandering around the streets as he had a vivid imagination. ]

Isn't it going to be hard to find her without her real name? She didn't have everyone call her Dolly, right?

You'd be surprised how often I do make sense when you fully understand me.

[Context is just about everything when it comes to Pico and her inane ramblings. Granted it's often a bit difficult to get context out of her because she's sort of impatient and hyper, but what can you expect from children?]

Yeah, but I call her Dolly so often that she'll know who's looking for her pretty easily. Her real name is... Doll say? Dole see? It's something like that!

[ Maybe that wasn't entirely right but it sounded correct enough when spoken quickly. ]

Haven't heard of one of those around or a lost and found...

[ That was where some one went when they had lost someone, right? ]

[At this point Pico is hoping to recruit a veritable army of people to look for her friend so that if she does arrive, she'll be absolutely swarmed with people pointing her towards her Pico.]

I... I don't know! Normally I'd fade away without Dolly around, but I don't even know what I'd do! She's...

[Oh no... little girl is on the verge of tears and a breakdown here.]

[ Uh oh, red alert, tears incoming!! ]

Uhm, well... you aren't fading away so she has to be around some where.

[ Maybe? ]

Or... is on her way. If you are that close she has to be looking for you too.

I'm not dead anymore either, so I don't think the same rules apply.

[As a ghost straying from the one she's haunting would cause her to move on to the afterlife, but here? She was very much alive!]

You're right... milady is probably just as worried about me as I am about her.

[She's trying her best to grin and bear it, but her grin definitely doesn't seem very heartfelt.]

No, I stayed at that lake for hours hoping, but Dolly never showed up.

What kind of doll is she?

Oh she's not a doll, she's human.

She wears her creamy pink hair in twin tails, wears a black silk top hat with a bat accessory, a super cute frilly dress, has gorgeous violet eyes, and has super sexy curves. She can be pretty cold on the surface, but she's actually very warmhearted underneath!

That's okay, I was so worried about her I didn't exactly take the time to explain!

[Pico rarely takes the time to explain things.]

Well if you see her, promise you'll tell her I'm looking for her, okay?

[She wants to be sure that Dolce is absolutely buried in people being like "Oh so you're Dolly? Pico was looking for you." just so she knows how much Pico missed her!]

I'm not sure. I only got here a little while ago.

... Is there anyone here who teaches that? I'm not really very good at it yet, so it might be better to combine my efforts with someone who's also trying to learn theirs?
