Greetings, all. Let me first say to all of those who took on my "quest" last month, you have my utmost gratitude. To those who were concerned about it, matters have been settled, and things are even between the two of us. I just wanted to get that swept away before I ask for advice here.

 

I am still trying to master Light Magic. For those unaware, this allows the user to disguise themselves with illusions. This isn't exactly unheard of in my realm, but more accustomed to those with dark magic... but that's neither here nor there. The point is, while I'm still trying to master illusions, I've discovered my struggles are actually with creativity. Just copying another's look won't do when I need to distract someone, or to have them focus their attention on anywhere but me.

 

So, in order to better practice my illusions, I ask this of you - what do you consider beautiful? Hideous? And what doesn't catch your attention at all? And yes, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", but this is about practicality, not compliments about my good looks.

I was thinking of something a bit more practical, but I suppose the moon does have its own sort of beauty. I've always been fond of the moon at its fullest.

More practical... hmm. I know for a fact people are drawn to jewels and precious gems.

Hm! Spreading out my illusions so it looks like I'm wearing jewelry... that would certainly do the trick if a quest needed me to catch some thieves and similar ilk. A commendable idea.

That would definitely draw the needed attention. I would say it would also help with infiltrating a high class party, if needed... but keeping up the illusion for the whole duration sounds like a risky idea.

Oh, now for that I hardly need any disguises or illusions - I'm a woman of noble upbringing myself. I can fit in quite easily!
