Hm... I think... like this and—

[The video feed turns on, revealing Aerith in all of her glory, wonderment gaze and more. She looks... bright. Cheery, all things considered.]

There we go!

[Lifting a hand, she wiggles her fingers in greeting.]

Hi there. My name is Aerith and I'd like some opinions onnnnn...

[She turns her camera to show off... her familiar, a Cerulean Drake.]

What I should name them. I'm still getting acquainted with things here, but this seems like a good place to start and a good way to get familiar with some of the other faces here.

I'm not very particular, but maybe something to do with the colour?

[She thumbs at her chin curiously as she looks over to it. No, she still doesn't have any ideas and up until now, she's just been calling it her 'friend.']

I suppose if it can understand you, then it would pick a name that it would like...

[ Hmm... Something formidable, though... ]

What about "Sky"? Or "Zephyr"? And I think "Cake" would make a cute name.

[ Don't let Weiss name anything. ]

That's the thought, anyway. They respond to me when I address them, so I suspect eventually they'll let me know what they like.

'Zephyr' sounds ethereal in a way. I think that's pretty suiting.

[But 'Cake.'
She eyes her drake with a smile curling in her mouth.]

I wonder, do they look like a 'Cake?' What do you think? All sweet things, are you? [She's addressing her drake who... seems less than impressed. Maybe not 'Cake.'] That's cute. It might not forgive me if I do that.

[schmisse]

I thought "Cake the Drake" would have been clever.

[ Poker face. Poker face................... five seconds later, she snickers. ]

[Aerith remains deadpan for only some moments as she's giving the title some serious contemplation. It does not last long and shortly after, she's following in suit in laughter.]

For all I know, they like cake. Sounds like I might have to test that out.

Well, whatever you name it, I hope it likes it and the two of you get along rather nicely.

[ It'd be weird if the familiar didn't like its master, after all! At least... she thinks so. It's weird to have "familiars", to begin with. They seem to have their own personality and all! Why can't they just be regular summons with no feelings whatsoever? ]
