Hm... I think... like this and—
[The video feed turns on, revealing Aerith in all of her glory, wonderment gaze and more. She looks... bright. Cheery, all things considered.]
There we go!
[Lifting a hand, she wiggles her fingers in greeting.]
Hi there. My name is Aerith and I'd like some opinions onnnnn...
[She turns her camera to show off... her familiar, a Cerulean Drake.]
What I should name them. I'm still getting acquainted with things here, but this seems like a good place to start and a good way to get familiar with some of the other faces here.
I'm not very particular, but maybe something to do with the colour?
[She thumbs at her chin curiously as she looks over to it. No, she still doesn't have any ideas and up until now, she's just been calling it her 'friend.']

Hello, Lady Aerith. What a lovely friend you have! Their scales remind me of the colour of a lake I know back home... perhaps, Sui? It means water!
no subject
'Sui,' huh?
[Sky, water. Whatever 'Seru' might mean. It does look like water, too. Right now, the Drake has obtained something of a 'SSS' score when it comes to names.]
Now that you mention it, it really does look a bit like water. I'm getting some really good ideas from everyone here. It might be hard to choose just one.

[ She smiles a bit. Aerith is so pretty, that Kitsuno can't help but want to keep looking at her... ]
You've such a pretty name of your own, my Lady. One would believe you're a fairy if told as much. You wear your own name so well, I imagine your friend will do the same with the name they want to have!
no subject
[And Aerith will tack on the rest of the names to prod at them out of a friendly sort of banter.
She blinks as Kitsuno continues.]
A fairy, huh? I think I'd know if I was a fairy. I'm just a girl. [No. She isn't just a girl, but no one here in this world needs to know that. And truthfully, what she is may not even matter here.]
no subject
[ And of home, really. She's been feeling very out of sorts in this place. ]
Did you only just arrive?
no subject
[Aerith nods, finding it's hard to expand on something that she's so very not in the know about.]
I've only been here for a handful of days. I guess some might have waited to reach out, but if there was anyone else from my world here, I thought this would be the best way to get in contact with them.
[In short, Aerith finds no shame in using the online network for what she feels it ought to be.]
no subject
[ She's already feeling a lot better talking to her... she should have reached out sooner rather than sticking to herself. ]

I'm from a place called Midgar, but I'm guessing you haven't heard of it before.
no subject
I've not, but it reminds me of a name I've heard before. Of a serpent, rather. What is this land called Midgar like? Is it as radiant as you, my lady?
no subject
The most radiant thing about it would be the people. Mako reactors if one is into that sort of thing. Wall Market if others like that.
(Wall Market wasn't entirely terrible, really.)]
If anything in Midgar is radiant, it's the people who live there. If you want to count that, then yes, it's full of radiance. There's room for improvement, though.
no subject
[ She smiles then, wondering what this fair maiden's story is. ]
What about you? What is it that you do in your home?
no subject
[Aerith must take a few moments to pause. What does she do? Well. She's no SOLDIER. No member of AVALANCHE. Where does she fit into all of these things?]
I'm a flower girl. [A pause and she explains better.] I grow and sell flowers.
[To put it simplest. And she helps run errands for the others in the slums, but none of these things are really done for the gil.]
no subject
[ And they usually don't take to mortals being harsh with them, at least back home. ]
Have you attempted to grow flowers here, Lady Aerith? They had a strange ritual just recently, but it grew some really beautiful ones.
no subject
[Seems a given, though. What else would she have done?]
I admit that it was in mind, though. I hadn't really decided what else I should do while here. I'm still trying to get to know the area and the people here. I'd like it if I could have my own flower shop, though.
