And Tuk Tuk is a lot smaller, than Raya is used to him being back home but she still can't resist the puppy eyes look from him. Well, at least it's faster than writing any texts on her device.]

So... Tell me about dragons.

Local dragons, or any dragons that you've seen back wherever you came from, or any dragons, that you might have heard about from anyone, who used to be here or whatever else... Anything works, including familiars too.

[If this is one of those "does anyone else have x in their home world", she sure isn't about to share those details of her home world to the whole network. Just one dragon nerd asking questions... We've got dragons~! Like, hundreds of them. What sort do you want to hear about? If I tell you about all of them, we might be here all day~

Of course they know magic. They're magical creatures! Is a dragon even a dragon if it doesn't know magic?

Anyway, my favorite is bronze dragons! They live by the ocean, which makes them better than literally any other kind of dragon. They're a very obvious bronze color, but with green tinges on their wings--like real bronze when it ages; and they can breathe lightning and shape-shift into anything they want, even people! Which they do! A lot! You could know a bronze dragon, but not actually know that you know a bronze dragon--they could be anyone.

[Judging by the speed at which she rattles all of this off, she's a bit of a nerd herself.]

My world has plenty of dragons. There are many dragon species living in there, such as the Hungarian Horntail, the Common Welsh Green, and the Ukrainian Ironbelly. They are pretty hard to domesticate though.

A friend of mine works with dragons in Romania and he is a better dragon expert than I am.

[Charlie is one of those very rare, few people, who'd possibly have some easier time befriending her by talking about dragons. Then again, it's not really easy for anyone these days but at least they could talk about the topic, that is clearly some easier time with this girl.

And another person with plenty of dragons in his world! Makes a girl wonder how many there were in her world, maybe she hasn't even seen all the statues. But okay, those names sure are different than the names of Sisudatu and her siblings or any other dragons in her world.]

So, they all look different? [Or at least different species and those names sound like they do.] Do they have similar or different abilities too? I wouldn't try to domesticate dragons, they belong into the nature.

No idea what Romania is but that sounds-- at least a bit similar as living with them. Is your friend here?

Yeah, they all look different. Some species may share some similar appearance with other species, but for the most part, they do look different from each other. And they do share similar abilities such as breathing fire and flight.

Sadly, my dragon expert friend isn’t here. He is still stuck in my world at the moment.

In my realm, dragons are worshipped alongside the gods... But we also discovered there once existed a race of dragons that could turn into people and vice versa. They've gone nearly extinct, seeing as my allies and I have only met one.

Where I'm from, some people still worship dragons as protectors but that's what everyone used to do a long time ago. All of those dragons were the same race but they all had their own magic - one could bring us rain, another could turn into a human and back into a dragon, and so on. So not the first time when I hear about that being a thing. I've only met one too.

[And this entire post makes Raya miss Sisu so much more than she has been missing her in a month, which is some kind of a new record considering she didn't even know she could miss Sisu even more than that.]

... The amusing part is, her human form is that of a very young girl, despite being hundreds of years old. We did eventually meet someone even older than she was, thousands of years old... but she only looked perhaps slightly older, like a big sister. Looking at them, you'd never guess they were older than twenty, at the most!

Last spring, during March I think, there was a cluster of baby dragons. They started claiming the flowers on the fields as their hoards, so we had to guide them back to their mothers. We had to use the language of flowers to do so. It was all very interesting... and adorable.

[Minus the Land of the Rot part where they had to fight stuff to get through. At least the babies helped.]

Who knows. I have no idea how often dragons have babies... or if the ones we had for visitors would visit again. But they're out there, so there's a chance.

Dragons? They're alright most of the time. The ones here are pretty chill if you leave them alone, but there are moments like with Celliwig. Better than the dragons from home since more were on-sight. Still, we have people like the Dragon Knights and I think they get their powers from dragon spirits and praise a dragon lord. If my friend was here, you'd be able to ask her more about it.

[Though that Dragon Lord... might've had to be defeated because of corruption...]

... There are only four dragons left, where I come from. Living apart from humanity, as I understand it. [ her uncles and cousin, she leaves out. ] They were... family and one-time allies of another, Seiros, who ruled over the humans of our continent for a thousand years. They were all descended from a being called Sothis, who came from a distant star.

[That's absolutely a question, that Raya wonders from her side of things too. Not because she thinks Sisu would mind any of this... Hell, she would probably tell everything to everyone in a world like this where she doesn't need to hide anything about herself but Raya doesn't happen to be as open about everything as she is...]

That's three more than what there's left in my home world. [But she's only counting the one, that's alive and not turned into stone and possibly never ever returning from that state, that is.] Though they didn't rule over us, so that's -- different. [And it doesn't sound nice, being ruled over by anyone!] Our people used to live together with them in harmony and worship them. Some still do that and consider them as our protectors.

The little lady I love the most is a dragon. She's not here any more so I can't introduce you, but I can answer at least a few of your questions, if Teach hasn't already.

[Flayn's disappearance is still a sore spot for him, but who knows, maybe talking about it will help.]

And since you were curious about familiars... Mine's not a dragon, but a wyvern. She looks kind of similar, though. [He reaches offscreen, pulling a white, cat-sized wyvern into his lap, who yawns sleepily as if she'd just been disturbed.]

[Ohh... One of those people, who are easily open about at least some of their feelings even to strangers. But coincidentally one of the people, who Raya loves the most is also a dragon. Not that she's going to say it, if she has even realized it, but it's not like it's difficult to see it from her over time either. Anyway!! He sure reminds her of a few people back home with an opening line like that but she hides it behind a poker face.]

Not the first time I hear about dragons having human forms... Too bad she's not here anymore, would have been great to meet her. Who's Teach?

I honestly don't know too much about dragons, other than what I've read and heard about in fantasy settings. But my friend back home was telling me of a dragon he and his family fought once, when they accidentally unleashed it and it tried to steal his uncle's money.

Well, I know someone back home who's something like a dragon taking human form. She's strong and powerful, wild, has no care for typical human niceties...and really likes frogs.

There was a dragon here, as well...but it met an unfortunate end.

Seems like a pretty common thing from these answers so far, the thing with them being able to take human forms that is. She sounds great. [Or like bad news if she'd be on the opposite side on any fight.] ...And also totally different to a dragon from my home, who loves mango.

[There's definitely affection on her tone and even on her face too. But then she sighs and continues with a serious tone and serious face...]

Yeah, I heard about that. Seems like that wasn't the only unfortunate dragon either considering there's a whole graveyard for them.

[And that's just sad even if that and unfortunate are huge understatements.]

I am uncertain if they were real where I came from, but dragons were considers bringer of good fortune. They were also on the same level as gods, with the ability to control the weather.

That-- sounds kind of similar to 500 year old stories, that I've heard back home. That was back when dragons lived together with people, who worshipped them and everything, that they symbolized. And at least one of them was able to bring rain with it but all of the dragons had their own unique abilities. And even to today some people there still worship them as protectors.

[Okay, so she didn't hear the last part about rain and abilities from stories. That's from Sisu and from seeing Sisu's rain magic right before she arrived here, but it could be from those stories too.]
