My birthday is later this week and I would rather not make my own cake for the occasion.

I also have a terrible sweet-tooth, I believe is the expression.

I'm not so into sweets and I'd ask Taichi but well, he's the type to like those weird neon color cakes. [They aren't natural. Nothing should be bright colors like that.] I can at least take you to lunch and we can go shopping at some point, though, right? That's something! My treat and everything.

Think really, really bright colors. Like pink but as a very loud pink. Like that. [It's very hard to explain neon colors...

You're telling me. Food coloring is a thing but it doesn't mean it should be that unnatural. Who wants something like that in your mouth? Scary~

Wouldn't such an intense color dye your mouth? A blueberry or blackberry is quite capable of that on its own, I can only imagine what an unnatural color may do.

Some can. Some of the candies here will do that to your tongue.
