Goooooood morning everybody!

[ That's an... enthused greeting! It's coming from Stella, who's stood against a backdrop of what seems to be one of the walls of her hotel room that's been spruced up a bit with some pink bunting and other random decorations (thankfully just held up with sticky tack to avoid permanently defacing the walls). She's got a big smile on her face and she seems a little... 'switched on' is probably the best word for it. If you've met Stella before this, then it's easy to see that some of her flighty, unfocused energy is gone, apparently channeled into... whatever this video is. ]

So, if we haven't met before or you're new – hi! I'm Stella! I've been here... man, it's been a while now! I think about two months, maybe three? Either way, it's a while! And since I've been getting to know everybody who's here, making friends, that kinda stuff– I've noticed something!

[ She folds her arms across her chest, looking performatively pensive about this whole thing. ]

There's like... a bunch of us here who are performers! I mean singers and people who can play instruments or actors– you know, stuff like that! And at first I was like "okay, this is a really weird coincidence" but then I had a genius idea, since I'm, you know, a genius.

[ She says this with enough panache that the irony comes through, thankfully. ]

I was thinking – let's start a club! Or a group or a circle or an alliance, whatever we wanna call it! And if you're into music or acting or dancing you can come along and we can just kinda hang out and talk about it! And I've been looking around and there's a ton of places around here we could use as a meeting spot and there's studios where we can rehearse and places we could perform if we really wanna, and even recording studios too–

[ Thankfully, she catches herself before she rambles too much more and shakes her head a bit. ]

Okaaayyyy, I'm getting way too ahead of myself for right now, so I'm gonna just leave it there and say – well if you're interested, send me a message and if enough folks wanna come along, we can talk about meeting times and where to hang out. Easy! And...! Don't tab away yet, 'cause this is a twofer! [ she thrusts her hands towards the camera in a double peace sign to emphasize this. ] I've got something else I wanna ask!

... does anybody know where I can get a job? I'm basically dirt poor and I'm sooooooooo tired of just eating the food here at the inn... it's good! Don't get me wrong! But I need some variety or I'm gonna go insane. And I wanna be able to go shopping and have fun! So is anywhere hiring? Job-wise, I, uh... I've kind of only ever been an idol, so I don't really know what I can do, but hey! I'll try anything!

[Stella gets a giggle and a "thank you" for the compliment of her name.]

From what I understand, I believe so? I'm not a professional by any means. Back home, I was casually learning from a friend who was training to become an actual opera singer, but I'd still like to give it a try.

[Singing is also Nyuu's favorite thing to do!]

And you mentioned earlier that you're an idol, Stella-san? That's also really cool! I didn't follow any idol groups back home, but I did like the cute outfits they wore, and their singing was good too, of course.

[There were occasions when Nyuu would hear them on the radio, or in the department store, or from someone turning up their music in a passing car.]

Eheh, when you become a pro, we'll have to make sure we become each other's fans, then! Maybe you'll be my... man, what do they call it... my gateway to becoming a hardcore opera fan!

[ Probably not, but it's the thought that counts, right? ]

It's honestly kinda weird... not doing idol stuff over here, though. It's the sorta thing you have to work at every day so slacking off has been kinda wild! ... Uh, not that I'm slacking off, obviously!

[ Even from across the infinite multiverse, Celeste would have her head. ]

[She giggles, even if that isn't how it turns out, she's still flattered by the thought.]

And maybe you'll be my gateway to becoming more of an idol fan!

[Maybe not a hardcore fan, but a normal fan could be just as nice.]

It must be tough, since it's not like back home where people know you. But that just means you have to get people here to learn of you!

[She's ever the optimist, but on the other hand, she's not ignorant of the financial demands in this place.]

But still, getting a second job would be a good idea in the meantime... Oh, but may I ask how long you've been an idol? And what's it like?

Oh, me? It's been abooouuttt... I wanna say six months since I debuted? Oh, but I was doing all the training and stuff and meeting everybody and getting ready for a little while beforehand... so it's more like nine months?

[ She blinks a little, as if she's surprised herself. ]

Huh. Wow. I never realized it'd actually been that long.

[scarredhorns]

Nine months is a long time, but with all that preparation, I'm sure you'll make it here eventually. I wish you the best of luck! I'll be keeping an eye out for any future announcements about your concerts~

[And likewise, Nyuu would let Stella know of her first big opera performance, because right now, she expects to only land some minor roles until she gains more experience.]

I'll let Lucy know about the club, too.

Heck yeah! Definitely tell your friends, too! It's gonna be open for basically anyone as long as they're into the music and performing thing – and even if it just ends up being a thing where all kinda just hang out with each other, that's still gonna be really fun!

I look forward to it~ But, ah, Stella-san, I should let you know ahead of time that I might act different the next time you see me. Er... There's really no other way to say it without making it sound even more weird, but...

[No matter how many times she tells people, it never gets any less awkward.]

I have a split personality, and Lucy is my other half.

Huh. [ Stella takes a moment or two to process this information. ] Huh!

[ Another moment. Alright, processed. ]

Got it. Uh, will I need to introduce myself to her too...?

[ she's 16 and a little confused but she got the spirit ]

She won't remember this conversation, so you can if you want. I'll also be writing to Lucy about what we talked about, your name, and what you look like, so she won't be completely unaware.

She likes to sing opera too, so I think it'd be good for her to take part in club activities. She needs to make more friends anyway.

[Nyuu hopes that by making more friends and experiencing more things, Lucy will heal from her lonely past. It seemed to work when they were in Lunatia, so Nyuu hopes it will continue to work here.]

Right, right. Maybe I'll send you guys a message when I start getting everything together? That way you can both read it, yeah?

[Until Nyuu knows that Stella is younger than her, she's defaulting to -san. Better to be too formal than rude in her mind.]
