I am stuck in my inn room by this white plague.
My own jewelry is so cold it burns my skin.
Attempted to build a fire, but the circle box on the ceiling began to screech deafeningly.
Someone give me a proper burial when this is over.

[It's a formality in speaking, nothing more (and he won't even acknowledge that point about the shoulder blades, however well-defined the god's body may be). Instead, Walter focuses more on the work at hand, wielding the kinetic magic at his disposal to -- rather forcefully -- impale the loose door into the snow. Using both his body and his magic, it's very little time at all before he has enough of the snow cleared for all to emerge from the room comfortably.]

But other than that, he doesn't say anything else. Not that he's happy to meet Walter because he never had been interested in meeting him. He's not social and really, he didn't want others to see him and Horus interacting too much. Except right now, he's got no choice. Although with the door taken off, Set wonders what Horus will do about a room now. Oh well. No more living next to him. That's fine.
He grumbles when Horus pushes him along, frowning.] Stop clinging so close to me. Walk on your own.

If you promise you're staying through the night at Walter's, I'll stop. Not just dropping me off and going off on your own. If you break the promise, I'll do something so public you won't be able to talk yourself out of it.
[ He's not backing off until set promises, but he does peek around Set to look at Walter. Not to thank him though.]
Walter, are there hot drinks when we arrive?
no subject
Hot drinks, a fire, warm blankets, and eventually something hot to eat. You'll not be cold in my household.

I said I would go so stop nagging at me like a child. [He looks to Walter, now judging him for being friends with his nephew. What kind of person even was Walter?]
How far?

[ Horus, you're a guest, stop demanding specific meals and hot drinks.. Just as bad as Set in different ways, really. ]
Who's acting like a child here, complaining he doesn't want to go somewhere and not having basic manners?
[ Says the guy who also hasn't said thank you yet... ]

It must run in the family.]
I'll look up the recipe.
[Fortunately, with Chang Geng in the household, they have an abundance of healthy ingredients available for cooking.
Undoing his cloak, Walter turns to toss it about Horus' shoulders. Horus is a good measure taller than him, but it's a cloak and not a fitted coat, so it fits well enough. It's also quite warm, given Walter's earlier exertion.]
And it isn't dreadfully far, but far enough for it to be an issue for this one's fingers and toes, as blue as they are now.
[With that, he gives Horus a stern look as he makes the attempt to tug the cloak closed.]
Keep your hands in. It's even colder outside than it is in your room.

[Set is hardly dressed for the weather, in his coat and sandels. But he had brought blankets when he'd come to try to save Horus so there is that as he takes it from Horus' floor and wraps it around himself. Is he freezing? Absolutely. But he won't say a word.
And there is still no thanks.]

[ As if Walter is somehow the one in charge right now. Horus seems to have decided it's fine to designate him the one caring for them right now, and keeps his hands safe just as he was told to.
Either way, Horus seems to be moving to go ahead and get the party going now that he's tucked into Walter's coat. ]

[He treads at a brisk pace, thoughts already turning to what he needs to do once they make it to his household. The fire will need to be stoked, certainly. But their extremities concern him. Cups of tea to warm their hands. Tubs of warm water for their feet. What else...?
Blankets. They don't have many extra, but he can spare his own.]
