Hi everyone! It's Taichi Nanao again!

I've been doing some reading and it tracks with what I know from my world: love is the most powerful kind of magic!

I guess real love is how you break a lot of so-called "love" spells! (It looks like most of those are like, attraction and obsession and something called bimbofication?? What's a bimbofi?)

What else do you think love can conquer? What happens if you haven't found real love yet and you get enchanted?

(Also, how soon is too soon to tell someone you love them? There's definitely someone I want to tell and I want to shout it from the mountain tops!)

[ He just makes a little whimper sound at first and puts his phone on the bed, nodding. He doesn't want him to stop brushing his fingers through his hair. ]

You were right here, so for some reason I thought you couldn't be online in my head!

[irritated]

[Hikaru starts snickering under his breath and then laughing.] How does that work? [But once his laughs calm down, he continues to pet through Taichi's hair as he smiles down at him. Taichi makes him happy. He's made him laugh since they first met and since that sleepover they had over a year ago, Taichi's made him really happy in a world so far away.]

Hey, look at me.

[And when Taichi does, he'll see Hikaru smiling at him still. His eyes are full of affection and warmth because he absolutely knows how he feels. How could he not know by now? Although, when it came to figuring out his initial feelings it had taken Kaoru to figure that much out. But by now? Now it hasn't taken him long at all to know how deep his feelings go.]

Remember how I told you we should just do what we want? That's how you really win.

[arf]

[ At least this was less of a disaster than the flash mob. When he looks Hikaru in the eyes, it seems like he calms down, and he feels as if he can't look away. Or rather, he doesn't want to. He reaches up to let his fingers brush Hikaru's hair out of his eyes. His voice is soft, but he finally says it. The way they really win, right. ]

I love you, Hikaru.

[irritated]

[Hikaru didn't quite expect to hear it so quickly and he looks surprised for a moment before he's smiling. Really, he'd known. He doesn't know how long he had known but he's sure the two of them have been in love for a while.]

I love you, too, Taichi. [This is the first time he's said this in this context. But it feels right. It feels really right to tell him this.

Leaning in, he presses a kiss to his lips and pulls away only enough so he can talk, their foreheads pressed together.]

I've loved you for a long time, I think.

[arf]

[ Hikaru says it once, and Taichi feels warm through his face and his whole body, and then he says it again and it's like butterflies blossom out of that warmth and spread through his stomach and all the way out to his fingers, fluttering and tickling him until he can't help but put out the biggest smile possible. His eyes close as he feels Hikaru's forehead against his, and there's a little tear in the corner of one of them as he opens it back up again. ]

Me too. I've wanted to say it for so long! I was worried it would be too fast.

[irritated]

I'm surprised you didn't say it that night at the hotel then. Shouldn't that have been the most romantic time?

[They were making love for the first time. Not that it was a perfect first time with neither of them having any real clue on how to do anything but Hikaru had still found the night special. Despite the mishaps.]

[arf]

[ Taichi shakes his head firmly. ]

You never say it after you have sex for the first time because it could be mistaken as just being overwhelmed by your special fireworks and I definitely didn't want you to think I didn't mean it.

[ That's definitely something he read in a Cosmo-equivalent. ]

[irritated]

[They both know that Hikaru would have overthought it. He would have wondered if Taichi meant it or it was just the fact they were having sex. Cosmo wasn't wrong. For once.

He smirks and moves them so he's pushing Taichi into the bed.]

And what if we said it tonight?

[arf]

[ Taichi still isn't past the phase of blushing when the conversation turns from talk to more, and he tends to light up like a Christmas tree when it does- but with a little excited simper pulling to his lips as Hikaru pushes him down. ]

I think it's fine if we say it before and after? You could say it again to make sure though, heh..!

[ Taichi's sex drive is high as any teenage boy's would be, yes, but his romance drive makes it go off the rails. He moves his hands to Hikaru's sides and slips his fingers up the bottom of his shirt and slides back to rub his lower back while he waits for Hikaru's response, practically having to put effort into staying still to hold in his excitement. ]

[irritated]

[By now he's figured out how easy it is to get Taichi to blush over anything. Even by now, with all the experiences they have under their belt (which isn't a lot but to a teenage boy it sure does feel like it), Taichi's smile means more than the blush. As do his words. Part of him wants to tease Taichi but it feels mean to do that now. So he doesn't, leaning in to say near his ear:]

I love you. [He presses a kiss on his cheek and then down to his neck, staying there to keep pressing kisses.] I could even say it during if you'd like.

[arf]

Hm.. it definitely feels right. Should I try it too? To make sure. I love you, Hikaru.

[ His fingernails dig into Hikaru's back a little with the effort to hold still from all of those kisses, but he doesn't want to hurt him, so after a couple of seconds he moves his hands to slide down his back again and slip down the back of Hikaru's pants to hold onto his butt. And then give a gentle squeeze because hehe how could he not? ]

[irritated]

It does feel right, doesn't it? [And he does like it. Hikaru had never thought that he would like to hear that so much but right now? It definitely adds to the mood. Adds to how Taichi grabs his butt and Hikaru grins, pushing himself up so he can look down at the other boy.]

Perv. But I love that about you, too. [He moves to straddle Taichi so they can press flush together.] And I'm not much better anyway.
