[Makoto starts the video and it's clear that he's in bed and looking a little under the weather. But then, the video shakes because someone decided he needed to join in on this and parked himself right on Makoto's lap.

He sighed, but he immediately starts giving his dog pets between the big ears standing erect in curiosity over the camera.]

Ahaha, sorry 'bout that. This is Biscuit and not the point of this video. JJ's told me things have been getting festive, but I didn't think this place knew about Halloween? Or am I just assuming things? Is anyone dressing up or doing anything fun?

[A small, sheepish smile here. He's really just going off second hand knowledge here since he's been coped up at home!]

I've been sick these past few weeks so I feel like I'm out of the loop! Anyone wanna humor me and Biscuit?

There's always next year, it's okay. I had already given it to my fiancé so I didn't want to risk anyone else! Besides, our animals kept me company, so it wasn't all miserable.

Well, I suppose that it's good to be responsible..

[ Minako, please, why did you have to put emphasis on the 'suppose' there, as if you're not sure whether it's an actual good thing? ]

But that's still so sad. Now you'll have to wait a whole year.. That's so many days! Who can tell if we'll still all even be here by then!

[He did catch that and only laughed quietly.]

There's more holidays though, aren't there? And I'm sure Camelot has it's own traditions too. Hm... if we're still here by then... well, for me that means Halloween would be coming up. I was about to start college when I left, so less than a year.

.. are you saying you're going to try wearing a scary costume during Christmas instead? If they celebrate Christmas here at all, that is..

[ Because that's the main feature of Halloween! And sure, Minako knows he's right and that there's a lot of other holidays.. but during what other holiday can you have as much fun dressing up without it being totally inappropriate? ]

What? Oh, no, I just meant in general there are more holidays coming up, right? I'd assume there's some kind of winter celebration, I doubt it would be Christmas considering the history behind it.

[He wasn't Christian and he wasn't going to pretend he knew a whole lot about it given both of them were from a country that was majority Shinto. But he knew enough to know that Camelot likely didn't have the same thing.]

Either way, I don't mind missing out on Halloween, really.

[ Minako goes quiet for a moment.

Mostly because she.. doesn't want to admit that she's not even too sure what the history behind Christmas is supposed to be, especially since Makoto seems to know.. And even in front of a taken cute guy, Minako still doesn't want to look bad! ]

Oh! Um--! [ Hold on, her brain is trying to catch back up, after having been distract by that for a good few moments. ] Yeah! I mean.. I get it, I guess it's not for everyone? I just like dressing up, and Halloween is a good time for that! But I guess every single holiday brings something uniquely fun along with it, hahaha!

[To be fair! JJ is catholic and had to explain to Makoto what Christmas was actually like in the West once Makoto told him what Japan does.]

Oh, I get that! I love dressing up too and I am a little bummed I missed out, I just don't want to let it get to me when I have other things I can still look forward to, you know? So, are you going to dress up for Ren's concert?

Of course!

[ There's that kind of tone to her words that seems to indicate Minako thinks it's pretty much impossible not to want to dress up under those circumstances. What else is it a Halloween concert for, if not just for the fun of dressing up? ]

I mean, I'm sure there's plenty of people who will be coming to see it not just for the music, but also to see the cute costumes everyone is wearing! It's an important part of being an idol, after all!

You're an idol? That's really cool, Minako-chan! What will you be dressing up as?

[ Minako just giggles - a 'hehe!' kind of sound. Mostly because she's not really an idol, but if you just imagine really hard that you're one inside of your mind, then you're already halfway there, right.. ]

A witch, of course! Isn't that the perfect combination of cute, yet spooky?

[ .. maybe a little bit more cute than spooky, in Minako's case. ]

I already got the ideal witch costume picked out and all! It's only professional to be super prepared for a concert, right?
