Hey people.
[The man in the dark shades waved coolly at the screen as he sat on the edge of a small stone fence. It was freezing cold outside but in spite of the clouds that appeared whenever he spoke Crowley didn't seem to notice.]
We've all been brought here, had our powers taken and dolled out to us again in much smaller pieces... it's inconvenient, like being trapped in a baby walker... or trying to save the universe with your hands tied behind your back.
Point is, I need some volunteers who are skilled with Light magic, Healing magic, Animal magic, Kinetic magic and maybe another Elemental magic user who thinks they would be up to controlling sand. Think of it as training.
Also Angel, meet me on the Inn roof before midnight. Not sure it would work with an angel and a demon but if it does we could use some good luck for the new year.
[He doesn't know about the fireworks. Those are going to be a nice surprise.]

No but now I'm curious what I'm signing myself up for.

Fine, I’ll be there soon but the moment I notice something is off? I’m leaving.
[Hopefully this isn’t as bad as he made it out to be?]
no subject
Its just a little pest control... it'll be fine!
no subject
If you say so, I'll be there shortly. Make sure you see a boy with brown hair, okay?
[And just like he promised, he wasted no time in making his way to the cottage. He didn't know what he was getting himself into but he was hoping for the best!]
Um...is anyone there?
no subject
[ There were lots of kids out there with brown hair! Crowley would keep his eyes peeled for some one who looks a little lost like they were looking for something, which he eventually would find but not before he heard that voice calling out for 'anyone there'. ]
Yo.
[ Crowley waved as he drifted over to lean on the low wall of a small stone garden fence. ]
You made good time.

I said I would come and I did. It would be rude if I didn't. [He said before giving his hand out. That's what he was suppose to do here, right?]
I'm Ken Amada, what's yours?
no subject
Crowley. Anthony J. Crowley.
[ He gave Ken a good hard look as he looked kind of young and maybe just a little... ]
You aren't squeamish are you?
no subject
But as soon as the high give was over, he just raised an eyebrow at him. Oh dear, what did he get himself into now?]
No, I'm not. Any reason why, Crowley-san?
no subject
[ So he said with no inkling of modesty whatsoever as both he and his young charge were ushered over to a mostly empty snow-covered field and up to a small hole in the ground that only went down a foot or two. ]
Grubs. Apparently they are a massive problem in spring but if you could talk to them and get them to leave... Or call down a flock of birds to eat them. Get creative.
no subject
Fine but I can't say they'll start attacking.
[That being said, as soon as he went to the hole, he cleared his throat]
Excuse me, I heard you were taking over the area. I know you want a place to stay but someone wants you to leave. Is there anyway for you to do that?
no subject
Mean spirited little things, aren't they?
no subject
You're telling me, they didn't need to do that! [That being said, he looked back at the older man.]
By the way, what magic do you have? I'm curious if we can work together to figure out how to get rid of them.
[Because now they were starting to really annoy him.]
no subject
[ He hissed the words, less than impressed with his downgrade in power, before gesturing back to the hole in the ground and the grubs were beginning to form lines and make more mud balls. ]
If you have an idea now would be a good time to say what it is. It looks like the grubs are starting to form an army.
no subject
Are you serious? Those things are a lot more stubborn than I thought! [Although, he can’t blame them for wanting to defend their territory. With that, he had to think of a plan.]
How about this, can you fire around the hole to scare them into moving? [However, based on his words alone, he wasn’t even sure if that would be enough.
Where was his leader when he needed her?]
no subject
[ This demon and fire went hand-in-hand. It was in fact the first elemental power he had relearned. ]
But if I do that won't they just pop back into the ground?
no subject
It’s either that or I could get a bunch of animals to help me move them somewhere else. [Pause] Because I sure don’t want to kill them.
no subject
Call them. Call a bunch of them. All the animals in the forest... Just get these things out of here.
no subject
[Well, Ken didn't need to be told twice about this. With a heavy sigh, he just looked around for any animals nearby to ask him for help. As he made his way toward the fence, he eventually found some birds. But alas, it was clear he was having a fight with one of them.]
What do you mean you're not going to fight for free? There are grubs attacking us right now! [He shouted from a distance]
no subject
What do you mean they won't deal with the grubs!? They are birds for Satan's... God's... someone's sake! Its a feast for them!
no subject
[Luckily, it didn't take them too long before they were convinced to help them out. After a couple more minutes, that's when he looked back at the older man and then back at the birds.]
Okay, they'll agreed but I really hope you appreciate how much effort I'll be helping you get the grubs out. [Pause] Because I don't know what foods birds like.
no subject
Bread or crackers. I used to feed ducks at a park, that's what they loved.
[ A beat. ]
Songbirds are like ducks right? Maybe only ducks like bread and crackers...
no subject
I think bread and crackers should be enough. Here goes...!
[He said before lifting his hands up. That was when the birds flew into grubs as they started pecking around. He was hoping the birds would intimidate them at first as they started to peck around them with no intention of hurting them. However, he knew they would start eating them eventually. While he had no problem attacking shadows back home, it sure was different compared to hearing the screams from creatures.
As he covered his ears, he just saw the birds pecking around the grubs hoping they would just go away. He really didn't want to make it anymore difficult than it should be. ]
no subject
HA! This garden is off limits! Move out or you'll get the birds again!
