[Video] un: fireworks
[The young of perhaps 10 or 11 has a large salamander, roughly the size of an iguana, perched on her shoulder when she flips on the video feed.
Although the most striking feature of hers is those pale eyes of hers.]
Hello.
[There's a polite bow of her head before she continues.]
My name is Hanabi Hyuuga. I was thinking about everything that happened recently, with the Forest of the Felled, Celliwig and Lestari.
[Hard not to, when Camelot is filled with survivors of those very attacks.]
I think one way we could work to avoid things like that happening in the future would be for more of us to get used to working with each other. On quests, and just training together would be good, too. Then we'd be able to plan better, because we'd know how to work together and what each other could do.
[She's not sure of how this will go over, but it doesn't hurt to try.]
So...um. I'll work with anyone who wants to go on quests, or train together. Thank you for your time.

[ After all, Minako can imagine that people who aren't good with fighting could probably fend off a pumpkin if they tried.
Having to deal with something like a headless horseman.. that seems a lot harder on regular people. ]
So we could do that. Are you used to fighting? [ The other looks a little too young to exactly be used to it.. but Minako knows that people from all sorts of worlds are drawn to this place, so she can't just judge by her own world's standards and she knows it. ]

[She's not arrogant enough to think that she can go on quests like this all by herself, but she's confident enough in her skills to know that she can be useful.]

That's more than a little wild to Minako, but since she assumes this is just.. the way things are in other worlds, she tries to not think about it too much. It's not like the other seems totally unhappy when she talks about it, anyway..? ]
Don't worry! I didn't think you'd bring all of this up, if you didn't think you could contribute. [ And Minako is totally here for making sure everyone feels supported. It's important. ] Besides, if we're out there together, it means we have each other's backs if anything goes wrong!

What kinds of magic do you have? Mine is elemental and blood.

I've seen elemental magic before.. [ She hums.
That's not new to her, at the very least. ]
But not blood magic. I really don't know much about that.

[She's not so sure about some of the other aspects she's read up on, where blood magic is concerned. Weaponizing one's own blood seems more like something that should only be done out of desperation than anything, and manipulating people like puppets? A little creepy.]
Oh, that's good that you got something familiar. There are elemental jutsu from back home...it's a lot like magic. That made it a little easier to learn control.

Maybe she's just trying to find some upside to it, to prevent herself from getting too upset that kids have to fight at such a young age in other worlds. ]
I guess the sneaking up thing would be pretty handy, yeah.. Although it does seem like we're fighting more non-human beings than actual humans here, huh?
[ Recently, at least. Minako hasn't been here for long enough yet to draw any long term conclusions. ]

[ Especially since Minako's inclination is to keep people younger than her away from the thick of combat - no matter how much it sounds like the girl would be able to handle it. ]
When we get there, you try to see if there's anyone we can save. I'll keep that big thing occupied in the meantime.

[It sounds like she does, but Hanabi knows there are civilians here, too.]

You know, I was a soldier fighting for love and justice back home! [ It still feels a little weird, knowing she can talk about it so openly here, after she spent years and years keeping it a secret back home..
But she's slowly getting more used to it. At least enough to tell the other girl about it. ]
I've kept the planet safe multiple times by now, so what's one silly headless enemy here, huh?
[ Even if she.. doesn't have her own powers here.. But she's been learning to work with her new magic. ]
no subject
[That's quite something, and it makes Hanabi confident she'll be able to learn from her.]

[ Minako says it with a smile, like it's normal.
(Granted, to her having to save the planet from total annihilation is.. just about a regular Tuesday at this point.) ]
I mean, I wasn't alone, since my friends were fighting for the same thing.. But if our little group wasn't going to do it, it wasn't like anyone else would do it for us!

Same here! Let's kick some a-- butt sometime soon!
