Video // un; E.A Poe
[The video feed cuts to a rather pensive looking man, somewhere in his forties. He could be heard mumbling about odd machines, and something about not really expecting the afterlife to look like this. Quite a few people should instantly recognize him.
And without any warning he starts mutter a poem to himself.]
Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow —
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.
I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand —
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep — while I weep!
O God! Can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?
Bah, whatever. Greetings to all of... whatever you all are. I am Edgar Allan Poe. Here to join you all in this fever dream.

It was months ago, so no not really. Unless they decide to test us again, but the dying one was like you got trapped on a beach with another person and two glasses. One of them had poison in it, and so one of the two had to drink it to be able to leave.
[Just leaving out the fact that it didn't really kill you, just made it look like you died.]

[He hates it, and he hates that he loves it.]
Nonetheless I fail to see how such a thing might be considered a test.

[Chara is a morbid kid sometimes.]
And I dunno how, probably to show pureness of heart or something. If like, you volunteered to be the one poisoned.

[Or act as if they would. Which seemed more likely to him.]

After all, what's to stop one from merely acting out the willingness to be altruistic.
