[The video feed opens to a blurry shot of Rinea's porch as she turns it on, then sits back a proper distance with a smile. She has managed to center the camera properly this time: no ceiling shots or fingers covering the lens. She practiced! (Still, she looks a bit nervous.)]
Um.. Good day. My name is Rinea! I have a request to make. It's a bit silly, but I would be very happy for assistance nonetheless.
The truth is... I have been residing in Camelot for some time now, but am still unused to using... the internet. [Blush.] It seems a very vital skill to have, to keep abreast of the news! I've missed many an important post on local dangers! But I've still had trouble with checking regularly.
So-- would anyone be interested in exchanging letters, as conversational partners? I believe the term is "pen pals." I would enjoy befriending more of my fellow Avalon otherworlders... and I think having messages to look forward to will make it easier for me to remember to check the phone.
[A hah hah hah. Embarrassing. But still-- she will soldier on!!!]
I will gladly chat about anything, of course! But as for myself, topics I can speak upon include dancing and embroidery. I also spend much of my time honing my alchemy and potionmaking skills-- I would be very happy to share what I have learned there. I also admire gardens and their wildlife, but I have little experience in their cultivation... Oh, and music, as well. You know, the music of Avalon is so varied compared to home, it's a little overwhelming!
[Remembering herself, Rinea inclines her head shyly at the camera.]
Um-- Thank you for listening. I very much look forward to meeting anyone interested!

[Out of view of the camera, Rinea's fingers unconsciously twist the engagement ring on her other hand. Caster's despairing outburst had reminded her of something... that pang of pity still rings true.
Rinea thought she'd blown it at the feast (she never was good at starting conversation at balls.. agh, to get ahead of herself), but if Caster was approaching herself, maybe all wasn't lost after all?]
Um... were you interested in exchanging letters?

If you would be interested in conversing with me, that is.
[There was a chance Rinea would agree simply out of fear, but maybe she could smooth things over.]

[Actually, it's probably much safer this way, too. Rinea can't lie and say she's not scared of Caster-- she unfortunately still is-- but it's definitely less intimidating when the woman's hooded appearance is limited to the device screen.]
I had wanted to ask how your journey into potionmaking was going, besides.

Wonderful- and yes, it's making good progress. I think...I think I'm nearly there with this one.
[She reached off screen, before holding up a little, easily concealed bottle- the liquid inside was a shimmery, glittering gold.
But perhaps what might also catch Rinea's attention was the engagement ring she still wore on her ring finger.]
Have you brewed any others since we spoke last?

As for myself... I was asked to create a ward against the dead... or undead, I suppose. We had such things in my home country, so I feel confident about its possibility, but... [Rinea cannot help the Concerned(tm) expression she pulls.] Testing its efficacy seems like it will be intimidating, so I've put it off.
[Time to bait some ghosts and/or zombies into crossing(or avoiding) a barrier!!! fucking yikes]

[Carefully putting the potion aside again, before focusing on what Rinea had to say next- evidently, she hadn't noticed where her attention had been drawn.]
Hm...yes, you'd need to lure some targets to test against, wouldn't you? You'll probably want to recruit a Death Mage for that effort- I can't summon my own undead soldiers anymore, after all.
