[ Alberto notices Asriel's face growing more and more emotional, and it softens his own smile, empathetic, wistful himself now. It means more than he can say to be told he's a really good friend. He didn't always treat Luca like a really good friend should. That's part of what made him so resolved to help Luca go to school with Giulia... even if it meant leaving Alberto behind. He misses Luca every day since Luca left for Genoa; and he's missed Luca every day since he arrived here. He'll be ecstatic to see his friend again. He never had many friends before. Not like this.
