Oh, is it? A lute? I don't know much about archaic instruments, but how was playing one? Even if you started a riot! Hahaha!

I wonder why they did that? Maybe they're more accustomed to uplifting music or romantic songs. Guess you gotta gauge the audience here, sounds like they are a tough crowd to impress.

I didn't play the lute, that was the problem I guess? I played my guitar. I still earned some gold for it but fight broke out. I can't tell whether my performance was a success or a bust.

Visual Kei. We play songs with darker themes. I have this fallen angel motif, the other guitarist has a dark god aesthetic and our bassist has this pseudo-samurai thing going on. And our drummer is badass enough to be the cool, tough guy.

Huh. I didn't hear that music in a long while. I guess I was too preoccupied researching rock music to help Mafuyu. So you guys have some bad omens and deathstyle? Our drummer is pretty badass too, even if he's a softie on the inside.

Yeah, it was a pub-like place with a small podium? Probably where troubadours come to play lutes or harps and sing. My familiar got me out of there.

Perhaps. I need to get organized with my band and see WHERE to perform. We also don't have our electric equipment and Kaji-san, our drummer, doesn't have drums.

Bad omens and deathstyle? No way! We're more about going against society, forbidden love, revolution, and perseverance when the world is against you. With our crimson gaze, we can reborn this stagnant world!

Yeah, I was speaking to some other musicians and they said about the same thing. We're all looking for a stage to perform.

So guess you're going to try to get those things here first? That sucks, but at least you have your band here. I'm sure you guys will figure it out.

Oh. If that is managing to pass your message then I have nothing to say against it.

Maybe we'll have to make one ourselves? If we all gather and build it, like makeshift ones? It's too cold now, but maybe when spring starts we could do something. And then have concerts there during summer.

Drums we'll be able to find. It's the amplifiers and electricity source that will be a challenge. I suppose you'll need amplifiers and speakers too, as a singer, or the crowd won't hear you

Well if our songs inspire anyone to stand up for themselves and go for their dreams, then I say it's successful!

I wouldn't mind helping out! If it's a stage, I'll definitely want to be apart of it! A summer concert would be really cool! There's a lot of open space for a music festival, even.

Oh yeah! I didn't think too much about the equipment, I guess I should figure that out too. I didn't bring my amp either, and speakers is probably a good idea. This place has got to have some form of electricity if they have internet. Unless...that's magical too!

Then we should start working towards it. We'll need a lot of money to rent out anything and set it up. So... jobs. A lot of them :| performing doesn't pay off yet because people don't know our songs yet so manual labor it is.

We should see with that Merlin guy. It seems like he's responsible for a lot of... magic stuff here? I dunno, he feels important. That Lady of the Lake doesn't seem to leave the lake so she probably won't be of much help

Heh. I'm not a stranger to hard work. To buy my current guitar, I was working two jobs! Doing deliveries for my parents' dairy farm and doing stock at this hobby shop with my bandmate. I'll do what I need to!

[He already knows that the farmers here need a helping hand, and he already intends to help out. Plus, he could probably do deliveries on the side too. He's not sure what other work he can get, since he's not that big on customer service.]

Merlin,eh? Guess we could ask him, but he's probably busy since he's so important. We could barge into the castle, and demand answers, but they'll kick us out for sure.

Honest hard work. I got my guitar from my dad. He didn't play it anymore so he gave it to me. I've been using it since.

[It's old, and now a sentimental thing to him. If he ends up switching to other guitars, he'll still keep this one, because he learned how to play on it.]

They'll do more than just kick us out. And there's probably magic protecting the castle too.

Your dad used to play? That's cool! I wish I could have inherited a guitar from my parents, but they're not so keen on me being a musician.

That's true! I guess it's better to ask around to see what our options are when it comes to electricity. This place is weird...it's sort of modern, but there are some things that haven't advanced much.
