[ A while after that message, Izzy should hear loud knocking on her door. Sorry, Izzy... but it's a bit of animal mage curiosity AND a cute thing. Her girlfriend has wolf ears!! And a tail! ]

[Izzy's wearing something for the weather, made worse by having patches of fur on parts of her body. Crop top and jeans to just lounge around not being seen by anyone. It takes her a bit to answer the door, and even then she barely opens it at first.]

[Izzy's hair is red and black now, matching the red wolf her features seem to have come from so red undertones with black streaks over it. Still hair, but the fur on her ears match the color exactly. Same as the fur on her tail. The fur on her forearms and stomach are pure white though.]

[She opens the door fully just long enough to drag Yuzu inside then close it again.]

[ She's dragged inside too quick for her to immediately react, but once she's inside and the door is closed... she's able to properly see what's going on with her girlfriend, and...

First off, crop tops do something to Yuzu, but that's overshadowed by the fur, ears, and tail. ]

[ Yup, sorry Izzy. On the bright side, though, you're not alone in this! Yuzu doesn't really have any visible fur on her, but she's got small pink pads on her fingers, and more noticeably, she has two furry pink cat-ears on her head that match the color of her hair. She even has a nice and long cat tail with the same color coming out from behind her.

Her eyes are practically sparkling. Truthfully, the strong reaction was mostly because of the animal mage curiosity, but that doesn't change the fact that she thinks that it looks adorable on Izzy, and nothing is stopping her from impulsively making that clear. ]

[Izzy is one who loves praise and attention. On her. For her things. That she likes. When people start praising her for things she'd rather not have as the focus, well...]

[Fortunately her ears and tail aren't betraying her, suggesting she likes this sorta attention. Cause, honestly, she doesn't. She's mostly annoyed she's wearing fur in the middle of summer with no actual choice.]

I can't even wear a full shirt it's too hot. And other things.

[ Something she hadn't really considered since she hadn't gotten any sudden bursts of fur anywhere. Geh, but it's still so cute though... ]

[ She frowns, trying to find another upside that isn't related to aesthetic, and it becomes clear that her own changes are incredibly emotive. One of her cat-ears tilts downward while the other remains up, and her tail curls up behind her. ]

I thought about shaving it, but I hated shaving my legs, and this...

[She'll just gesture at her stomach. Mostly as she's gesturing with both arms and the only other visible fur she has is on them.]

This feels like I'll fuck up trying to shave it. Plus it's kinda soft right now...

[Izzy has realized, at this moment, she fucked up.]

[ Sure, there's still the burning curiosity, and she can't deny that the thought of feeling the animal ears of her girlfriend isn't enticing... but boundaries, right? ]

Welcome to my entire life. Ever since I got here, those earbuds and headphones have been designed exclusively for those with ears on the side of the head.

They should really consider throwing a bone to their ears-atop-head customers, yeah? Especially given... this.

Probably, if that's how you're supposed to be. Gotta suck to be different and nobody take even a little time to design for you instead of just telling you 'tough shit.'

But my ears are supposed to be on the side of my head and I'd rather just have them back. I now have skirts and jeans with weird cutouts right above my butt that I'll just have to give away when this is all done...

Ah, yes, the tail part. Do take care not to get it caught in doors and such. It's not a fun experience. As for the clothing, I would suggest getting some throwaway skirts and pants you're willing to alter to fit with the extra appendage, just until it disappears. Which it probably will, because that's how these things tend to be.

I have a few things to wear now, it's mostly just the first time I'm not buying clothes for someone randomly underdressed outside it's cause I don't wanna fuck with running my tail under a skirt.

Doors bad, got it. Any- um, other pointers? I really don't know what I'm doing with these things, or the fur I've got. Growing fur in the summer sucks...

Ah, yes. Fur takes a damned eternity to dry, so keep that in mind when you expose it to water. Those hair dryer things that blow heat are good for that, I've found, but it still takes a while to go up and down the whole thing. It can also smell funny, depending on... well, you. Everyone's scent is a bit different, but unless you have heightened senses to go with the tail, I guess it won't matter too much.

I suppose a tail under a skirt would pose a problem, yes. I usually wear spats under all my skirts for all the physical stuff I do, though... Is that not an option? Layer the skirt over the tail, and put shorts underneath?

Wet dog still smells like wet dog to humans. So no swimming, got it.

I've never really liked skirts anyway. I've been tying a tee-shirt around my waist because having a hole in the back of my pants for my tail is still fucking weird.

Pants are quite a bit more difficult without alterations... though I suppose that's a decent enough solution for now, presuming they don't just fall down on you. That'd be worse.

...You'll have to bathe yourself eventually, though. Right?

I've got two pairs of pants secondhand, I'll just wash them regularly.

And yes, bathing will happen. Just not going to the beach or the pool and swimming. Won't have anyone else deal with that if they don't have to.

It might be easier just to get what you have altered. Basically, it's just like making a fly but on the back.

I don't recommend using a zipper though because if you have fur or feathers it can catch in the teeth and you're not gonna like it very much. Buttons work but my personal favourite is a lace-up option because it's more adjustable and more secure than buttons.
