[ When the camera clicks on, it takes a second to focus, like the wielder isn’t quite used to filming, but the image becomes clear soon enough: a solid-looking door with ivy crawling up the wall on either side. On the door’s sole window, painted in simple, blocky black letters, are the words INUI CONSULTING. ]
It’s not home. [ Juzo’s voice comes from somewhere behind the camera. ] But it’ll do.
[ The camera suddenly switches perspective, landing squarely on Juzo’s barrel. As ever, he has a cigarette clamped between his teeth, smoke trailing behind him and background bobbing as he walks into the office. ]
Back home, I worked as a Resolver, which is pretty much what it sounds like: if folks had a problem, I’d solve it for them. Not for free, of course. I’m not runnin’ a charity.
[ A moment of jostling while he takes a seat at his desk. He takes the cigarette from his mouth and exhales a plume of smoke off to the side. ]
Anything from finding missing persons, to bodyguard work, to negotiating peace between rival gangs. My skills cover a wide array. So, I figured why not keep it up here? Not everything’s gonna make it onto the Questboard. And besides, wouldn’t wanna get rusty.
My doors are open. Prices are negotiable based on the job. If you’ve got questions, feel free to ask.
[ He’ll end the transmission by dropping a pin with the location of his office, for anyone who wants to swing by. ]
(( OOC: Inui Consulting is open for business! Feel free to visit that page for more details, or chat with Juzo here if you want! ))

That's right, a hero agency. Heroes that are trained work for agencies that help with tasks to protect and serve the cities. Taking care of any sort of villains that might cause trouble or damage. But they tend to pick up other tasks as needed too.
[You know, like saving cats from trees.]
It's something like that, isn't it?

Back up. They train heroes where you're from?
no subject
Y-yeah! I'm a student training to become a hero, myself. My world has a large influx of humans with meta-physical abilities so...

[ That’s so weird to him. In Juzo’s experience, power corrupts more often than not. That’s why people are so up-in-arms over enhancement tech – it has a way of turning men into monsters. He’s seen it firsthand. Hell, he’s lived it.
But his world isn’t this kid’s world. Maybe there really is a place out there full of folks with far nobler hearts than he’s used to. ]
Sounds wild to me, but I’m not gonna doubt you. In any case, I’d say what I do is somethin’ more mercenary with a splash of detective.

[There is a fair amount of pride in Izuku's answer. Training to be a hero and doing his best to do better by the world is something he really takes pride and honor in. Having a chance to make a difference in his world, protecting people when they need it... That's all he wants to do.
But there is real truths in his world too. People who do take power too far. Men turning into monsters. Villains that want nothing more than to gain more power or prove a point...
Well... which is why heroes do exist too.]
That's still amazing! If you're helping others with detective work too... That sounds so cool. What were your cases like?
no subject
Still, this kind of enthusiasm puts him out of his depth. Just because he likes helping people doesn’t mean he’s exactly comfortable with others pointing out just how much he does help people. ]
Er… Like I said, they cover a pretty wide range… You still fishin’ for a story or something?
no subject
Ah- S-sorry. Maybe I'm ... a little homesick. It was always great to be to see the pro heroes at work back home. Watching their stories and their rankings and things like that...
[Izuku is a fanboy with no fandom to follow now. So maybe he misses it a little. A little starstruck without realizing it.]

It’s fine. I’m not much of a professional anything, least of all a hero, so you got me a little out of my depth, here.
What’s your name, kid?
no subject
Ahah... Yeah. I see. I'm Midoriya Izuku.

[ There's an awkward pause that follows, Juzo trying to fill the silence by taking a drag of his cigarette. ]
So... if you uh. Ever wanna swing by, I guess I got a story or two I could tell.
no subject
[He smiles, perking up considerably!]
I would like to see your place! Your agency- erm. I mean your office. Thank you...!
no subject
[ He assumes the kid knows how to work these things better than he does. The technology here is close in some ways to his own world, wholly different in others. ]
Just lemme know before you come by, in case I’m out of the office.
no subject
[That's right, no issues with using smart devices here.]
I'll do that. Are you alright with familiars coming along?
no subject
[ There’s not much in there to make a mess of, but Juzo likes to keep things clean. ]
Anyway, nice talkin’ to you. I figure I’ll be seein’ you around.
no subject
[And goodbye!]
