I'm used to fighting for my life, but it's been a long time and it usually wasn't because of other humans.

Giant human looking monsters that hunt down humans to eat, even if they don't need food to survive. Most of them range from two to ten meters and can only be killed through a specific spot in their nape. Otherwise they'll regenerate endlessly.

This is all awful. Some of us are kids and can't take higher paying jobs, so we can't even really go into hiding while all of this is a problem.

It's somehow more insulting that this is because the person is gross and can't just find a spell or something to make him be NOT gross. Also murdering people because of animal parts seems like a level above and beyond whatever punishment for a mass spell on unwilling people should be.

Are there friends you could stay with for time being? There's safety in numbers right now for all of us, kid or not.

Though I do agree on all of that. This whole request is crazy and it feels like they don't care who they hurt.

Not really. I'm still living at the inn. There are a lot of people here though so if I scream the odds are someone will come. I have also been keeping my door and windows locked.

It's pretty obvious they don't care who they hurt. They just don't like feeling a specific way and instead of thinking about what they can do to stop that they decided to get someone else to hurt people. They probably just wanted an excuse to hurt people anyway though.

The inn might be one of the safest place to be at. Especially since a lot of us are there and not just natives.

I guess people will do just about anything for money.

That was my thought, too. The odds of someone successfully attacking you and getting out without being at least spotted seems very low.

They will. Believe me, I'm not even surprised by this. My father was a bad man, and I was being taught all about his business, and people will be petty and pay a lot for stupid stuff, and there are ALWAYS people who will do the work.
