Is anyone else taking cross-species communication at the school? I'm really confused about these last questions. Fairy customs are really confusing.

And I don't really get the Elemental Magic assignment either.

I forgot how much I hate homework.

Yeah, somehow I don't think the classes I take here are gonna transfer over.

I do hang out with some third year students, so maybe they've rubbed off on me? Although thinking about it...I don't know if that's a good thing.

Well, not the magic ones. My school doesn't teach that.

Ah, I think I know what you mean. My school has classes to help us learn our individual quirks better but magic is very different.

Although...what's a quirk? I've heard a few people use it.

Ah! You've met a few other people from my class, I think. In my world, most humans have a special ability or power that's unique to them. It's called a quirk. Usually, there's some counselling and classes we take while growing up to learn how to grow with them.

That would make sense...so you go to school with all of them?

But it's not like the magic here?

My class in particular all have quirks, yeah. We're all in the same hero course so we have to make sure our quirks are in top shape.

It's not exactly like magic... Since quirks can be physical or mental. Whereas I feel like magic is a lot more... ahhh... super natural? But the two are definitely similar.

But they're more like super-powers then?

That's right, back home my class is training to be the next generation of heroes!

Probably explains that quirks are just like superpowers. Like in comics.

A hero in training, actually! I'm not sure you can call it a superhero when we're all super in our own ways?

[Like there is no ONE single Super. Everyone in his class is strong! And Super!]

But secret identities are actually only by choice where I'm from. Some heroes conceal it while others don't. It's actually fairly common that most high-ranking heroes have such a huge fanbase that it's normal for them to share their faces on things like social media or magazines.

And ahh... I don't mind that much. I actually forget to wear my hood a lot...

Hiee....that's a lot different from the movies and comic books.

But I guess it makes sense. If everyone's got powers, there's no real need to conceal your identity. Must be nice in a way.

So, there's bad guys, to, right? If there's a lot of superheroes?

That's the easiest way to see it, yeah.

And villains are a prominent thing too, there's always someone out there that wants to cause trouble. So it's also up to heroes to take villains down before anyone else can get hurt.

I guess that part is a lot more like the comic books.

Well, it makes sense. And I'm glad that there are heroes to fight the villains.

Yeah, it must be intense for the people who had to live in those places.

It can get pretty intense in general. Yeah.

From what I can tell you have an pretty exciting life back home too, Sawada-kun.

Nothing like fighting supervillains though. Usually I'm just trying to stop things from getting too chaotic.

I really wish I wasn't.

I don't go looking for trouble but my tutor does. It's supposed to toughen me up and get me ready for anything. And then all my friends get involved. Usually to "help"

Yeah. I can't say I have a teacher who does that but I've had my fair share of trouble too.
