[The video opens up to Crow lounging on an armchair. He has his guitar resting on his lap as he strums out a few notes before turning his attention to the camera. With enthusiasm and a toothy grin, he points towards the camera as if his attention is solely on the viewer!]

Evening Cattle!! Your resident Crimson Fallen Angel of the Apocalypse, Crow, is present!!

[ Yep, he probably lost half of the people tuning in already, but he doesn't skip a bit. He seems confident as ever as leans back into the chair.]

Today I bring you a scarlet new development! Rejoice! A new band will be gracing the ears of the denizens of Camelot! And you have a chance to be a part of it! Morgan Knight and I will be recruiting other passionate musicians to be part of this new soul-stirring group!

. . . Do you mean Amayado? With the sunglasses?

[Oh my god. The answer is that no, Kadoc did not want this job, and no, he's not remotely qualified for it; he knows what it entails, sure, intellectually! But he has no experience! Wartime diplomacy that he's not even always good at doesn't count as PR!

But the alternative . . . is that guy.]

Yeah! Him!

[ Crow can't seem to remember his last name. Maybe Rei never gave it, but the mention of sunglasses definitely sparks his memory.]

Do you know him? What? You don't think he would be a good pick? He's a little shady, but I'm grateful that he gave me a place to perform and he seems to know the music industry from what I saw!

[Although his motives may not be completely altruistic, Crow still thinks he's cool.]

Let's just say I didn't have the greatest experience with him the first time we met. "A little shady" isn't how I'd put it. . . . I actually didn't even know he was in the industry, but now that I do, a lot of things make sense.

[His showmanship on stage sure had pointed to Rei being experienced in performance of some kind. Kadoc just hadn't made the connection to him being a current industry professional. Hmmmm.]

Not the greatest experience? What happened?

[Color Crow curious. I mean it can't be any worse than meeting the old man in a cellar waiting for the storm to pass.

Speaking of showmanship, Crow and Rei did a quest together. The redhead was able to see a little of what a rap battle would look like. Rei's opponent was a bunch of trolls who obviously couldn't rebuttal, so the battle was a bit one-sided. Yet, the blow was still devastating.]

Did you see him do his rap thing? He has his own mic and everything!

He's a rapper? The hell?

[HE IS?! But sure, Kadoc can see that. It fits into that whole confidence and ability to improvise on the stage thing that he clearly has as a skillset . . . huh. He wouldn't have guessed, though.]

No, I didn't see that. We met during those trials last month. I'm not gonna relive the experience, but let's just say it didn't go well. For me. It went just peachy for him.

You didn't know? I guess he doesn't show it off too much. Plus it must be hard to come up with rhymes on the fly like that!

[ To Crow, that's clearly the hard part. He tilts his head at Kadoc's unique phrasing. There's a lot he doesn't know about Rei, but he seems like someone who is always a few steps ahead and has the upper hand. Maybe, Kadoc's situation was more unlucky.]

Well, I can't really say much about his actions but I don't think he's a bad guy. He's more business-minded, so it could work and I can just focus on what I do best!

Ugh . . . so you're gonna hit him up for the job? I've gotta admit I was tempted to look into it when you mentioned it. Even though you caught me totally off guard.

[Now the thought is in his head! Does he think he'd be good at it? Maybe, maybe not, but Kadoc does at least know he'd try really hard to learn, and wouldn't it be kinda cool to be in the music industry . . . and also stick it to Rei in this small way?!]

Maybe, unless someone else comes to mind.

[He shrugs. It takes Crow a moment to catch on. Especially since Kadoc doesn't make it blatantly obvious that he's interested. He blinks at him for a moment or two, before it hits him.]

W-wait! You want to do it?!

[He did completely spring the idea on the mage, but since he had brought it up, he figured he was somewhat intrigued, or at least wanted to help him out.]

Okay! If it's you then I'm sure you'll do a good job! And you can't take it back!

I've got no idea where you got all this faith in me.

[No pressure! But when it comes down to it, it wouldn't accept if it weren't for the aspect of pressure behind it too . . . that's kind of what he wants. It's how he operates best. So he takes a breath and nods.]

But yeah. I'll do it, and I won't let you down. I'm not gonna pretend I'm an industry expert like that asshole apparently is, but just give me a little time to get up to speed and I'm on it.

Well, there's no point knockin' you before you try!

[ He has no reason to believe that Kadoc couldn't do the job either. Though, it's mostly blind faith that the other mage won't let him down, especially since he seems so spirited about learning about the whole publicity thing.

Pressure? Sure, if you want to call Crow's transference of responsibilities, pressure, feel free!]

Up to speed? Well, I guess you have until my next show, which will be in a month! And then we can test drive what you've learned! Sounds like a plan?

[Crow does have a whole band to form and all! Maybe he'll have gotten somewhere by then, or maybe he'll need help; they'll find out. A musical adventure!]
