Evening Cattle!! Your resident Crimson Fallen Angel of the Apocalypse, Crow, is present!!

[ Yep, he probably lost half of the people tuning in already, but he doesn't skip a bit. He seems confident as ever as leans back into the chair.]

Today I bring you a scarlet new development! Rejoice! A new band will be gracing the ears of the denizens of Camelot! And you have a chance to be a part of it! Morgan Knight and I will be recruiting other passionate musicians to be part of this new soul-stirring group!

Sorry, I just know this guy who likes calling himself things like Black Fallen Angel or The Silver-Haired Prince. He's a little strange and I guess you sort of reminded me of him.

[Says the girl who is currently an internationally wanted criminal going by Queen of Catastrophe Temporarily. In her defense, the name wasn't her idea.]

[He cools down since she apologizes and she does give a valid reason for her response. Still, he still feels a bit ticked off. So he's still going to cross his arms over his chest and pout a little. His hedgehog tail swishes behind him to show his mild annoyance.]

Oh? A Black Fallen Angel? Sounds like someone I could get along with! I bet he was pretty cool!

[He's just going to ignore the part where she called her friend strange, yep. And if Crow knew about her own nickname, he would think it was pretty wicked.]

[There's been a misunderstanding here. She never said they were friends? But most importantly...

She waves her hand to indicate a sentiment like, "no, no".]

...he's really not cool at all. [But then...she thinks maybe the two of them might be on the same wavelength in terms of their taste in names.] He's a stalker who wears a middle school uniform all the time.

[And in a series where people's outfits actually do show variety it's pretty noticeable when one guy is in the exact same uniform in every single panel of every single page he appears in!] If you ever did meet him, you should make sure to turn around and go the other way.

Huh? A stalker, who wears a middle school uniform?

[Well that sounds pretty lame. Still, if this guy were to come to Avalon, he'll give him a chance to disappoint him before completely writing him off as Kaoru suggests.]

At least, if he's going to claim names like that, he should wear something more flashy! [Like Crow, obviously!]

Is he even still in middle school? What's with that?

I mean. He's plenty flashy in his own way...

[As all people with middle school syndrome do. Still, she clears her throat a little because...she does know the origin story of that.]

He wasn't. In fact even though he looks like a teenager he's really an old man. But um...when he was younger he used to wear the middle school uniform to funerals? Because he didn't have any proper mourning clothes.

[...geez, she misses the days when she could just answer with 'because he's a weirdo'.] It's a long story. And besides, these days he usually wears a highschool uniform and calls himself student council president despite being decades too old for that.

Does this guy have a mid-life crisis or something?

[Especially since he wants to obviously re-live the glory days of his schooling career. A grown man in a school uniform sounds pretty creepy. And how many funerals did he go to? He understands not having the money to buy proper clothes for the occasion, but it seems like this guy must have gone through something. It must left him unwell.]

Either way, I don't think I want to be associated with someone like that. He would totally cramp my style. Plus I don't even want to think about school, wasn't going once in your life bad enough?!

I don't think midlife crisis last this long. He just has a terminal case of middleschool syndrome.

[He went through a lot but that's not her story to tell. And besides, if Hyoubu did come and knows someone knows all this sad stuff about him he'd probably go out of his way to bully whoever knew.

...she's also not sure he ever went to school either but that's another topic that she's not going to touch with a ten-foot pole.]

I mean, I miss school right now [As in, school with her friends not Magic School Here which she would happily complain about attending and all the work they're given] but I don't think I'd want to go back as an adult either once I'd graduated. That'd be so weird.

Then maybe it's an existential crisis?

[ Probably the most intelligent thing Crow will ever say. Though, if a mid-life crisis has lasted this long, then it must be something greater weighing on that guy's mind. Anyway, he's done talking about him.]

Oh, were you in high school back home? I guess I liked school while I was going too, but not so much for the education or the homework.

[Just the thought of the lessons and rudimental courses made him cringe. Very much like Kaoru, Crow liked where he got to hang out with his friends. He also liked participating during P.E. and during the school festivals. When it came to recreational activities, school wasn't so bad, but he'd never go back!]

[...possibly, Hyoubu's entire life has been an on going existential crisis.

She really, really misses the days when she could just make fun of him.]

Yeah! It's my first year. [That got interrupted...but this is only temporary!]

And Homework is the worst. Who even has time for all that extra work? [Not her since she has a secret government job after school!] But culture festivals are great! We did a play one time in middle school and it was so much fun!

You're a first-year? So you just started! The first and second years are the best! Then they start talking about scary stuff like college and exam prep in the third year.

[Well they started preparing students earlier, but the third year is when it really hits home. He never thought of himself going to college anyway, so Crow never really paid attention.]

A play? That sounds cool! Did get the lead role? All I ever did was do the talent show or work the food stalls, both of them were pretty fun! Especially since you can take home the leftovers or even barter with other food stalls for more good stuff.

It's been a lot of fun! I'm sure when I get back there will be even more good times waiting for me!

[Well, talks about college probably won't be so scary for her. Her future is pretty much set in a lot of ways.]

I did! I played the Young Student in the Nightingale and the Rose. It was the male lead part. Ah, my friend Yuri played the Nightingale! She was so cute in her costume! Running a food stall sounds fun though! I'm not sure if I'd be very helpful with something like that though...
