It... may not be what you intend but it does seem very unkind, all the same. Perhaps you should ask if that is what your fans wish to be called?

Rise up against the system? What system? [Aurora was 1. raised in isolation in the forest, and 2. technically IS the system as a princess.]

I didn't know you used to live on a farm, Crow.

My fans back home didn't seem to mind it so much, once they understood the message. People have told me I should change it, but I'm pretty set on it!

I mean society, the government, or even just your occupation. Whatever system exploits the people. And yes, I grew up on a farm until I decided to pursue music full time and now I live in the city.

Well, I have my reasons for calling them livestock. Though ultimately, I want people to wake up and not accept themselves as they are! If people are offended, then it proves there's some truth to the nickname, but they have the ability to change their fate. They can evolve beyond being cattle.

Like for instance, being the son of dairy farmers, it's expected of me to also be a dairy farmer. There's nothing wrong with that since it's a notable profession, but by choosing my own path to be a musician, breaks me out of a box I was predestined to remain in.

Crow, I do believe we're going to have to agree to disagree on this. I do not think it polite to insult people especially in matters such as fate.

Oedipus' parents would argue that's exactly what they attempted, and instead, they met it in full force.

That's fine! I know not everyone will share my point of view. It doesn't mean either one is wrong, people just have different perspectives on the matter.

A child cursed with a fate that he and his parents tried to do everything they could to fight against it, but the fighting only brought them closer to it until it was eventually fulfilled.

That sounds like an unfortunate story. I like to think that people can change their fate. Though, I'm sure there are instances where people can't.

What do you think about fate? Do you believe it's inevitable just like Oedipus? Or can you change it to suit the future you desire?

I was cursed as a baby, and despite all the efforts of my loved ones before the curse could be fulfilled, I was unable to avoid it.

I cannot say if what we did lead to its fulfillment, I'd like to think it didn't, but who can truly know?

That sounds tough. A curse does seem impossible to fight against and it sounds like everyone did all they could to prevent it. Sorry, you had to deal with that.

Someone who wanted to see my parents suffer. I was... a means to an end. They had made the mistake, I was the means of punishing them.

That's cruel! If they had a problem with your parents, they should have taken it up with them! It's ruthless to involve an innocent party in their problems.

It is. But it's done. There is very little to be done about something that already happened.

If there's a way, then believe in it! Don't give up! Just because your story started one way doesn't mean it has to define your whole life!

Well, I don't think you should worry about that! If that's the countercurse, then people can easily fall in love with you. The only difficulty is knowing whether it's true or not.

That's a good point! Love isn't one-sided, but sometimes people like the illusion so much that they'll settle for it.

I guess your problem is falling in love with someone and the other party sharing those feelings in return. I'm sure you have someone in mind, don't you?
