[ The video is just a dark-haired catgirl with her face against her hand. People might recognize her as a miqo'te if they're familiar with them! She's addressing the device while a little duck and dragonet play on the desk near a pile of colorful strings by her side. Some freshly cut flowers are stacked behind them, too. ]

Had enough craziness this moon. Adventuring here doesn't really have the same spark as what we'd do back home, though... and there's been a few folk heading that way, it seems. At least I'd hope.

[ Seeing friends leave is always sad. She just hopes they're safe! ]

Name's Megumi, Matriarch of the Utakata Tribe. Got a request for you lot.

[ Her ears flick, as she continues: ]

What sorts of adventures did you lot have, anyroad? Got a few bells before I'm off duty, and I like to write about them. Tell me about them, even the most mundane. Maybe a chocobo chased you around, or you tried to eat a moogle's pom. Something or the other.

[ She holds up a pattern by the strings, a chocobo and mog pattern (smaller and cuter designs though!) before setting it down. ]

That's what those are. Anyroad, there's a charm in it for you, as thanks. Or a potion. Wasn't much of a magical person outside of my healing, but I'm missing what I used to be able to do all the same. Somehow controlling plants just feels rude at times.

[ She twirls a string bracelet on a finger, from the pile she has on her desk. ]

Tell me a story then, aye? You can say the accessories bring good luck. Made by a Radiant Matriarch and all. That would be me, by the way. Don't forget it.

[ And she winks, before she ends her side to see what she'll get! ]

Indeed....

[ Gawain takes a moment, its been a long time since he spoke about his father. Or was rather allowed to speak about him for sometime, his actions went against the good King Arthur and ultimately. His served purpose had been to die by the hands of Pellinore for an apparent accident on their part. ]

My father was a wonderful man, who believed he held claim to the throne of Camelot. Rather - that his sons, myself included. Held right to it, since Uther whom were the current King of Camelot. Held no blood children to rule over it. During our time the saxon's were hoisting themselves for battle against our lands. From the north, and of the south. He had plans and been fighting against them for many years along side King Uther.

Up until - King Uther's death, wherein he felt he held claim to the throne as did many of the other nobles within the land. For they felt if they had been fighting for it so long - then they wished to rule over Camelot.

I will not bore you with the drivel of the circumstances held back then. No, I will speak more of King Lot. Whom would spear head Dragons, enemies of our Kingdom, and faced many a quest beast with no fear within his eyes. He was a steady man, with an even temper. Never raising his voice, and always making certain his commands were taken seriously.

He was a man who believed if you did not own up to your own words, then the callousness of actions were rightfully fitting to end you if it came to it.

[ His words are fond despite how seemingly distant he spoke of his own father. ]

Our people and my father's strength often came from the shores and boats that we owned. We lived in the good north of the Orkney Isles, where most of our land were along the out stretch of the ocean. The cool airs were a welcoming feeling, whilst the Sun were always there to peak and keep us warm. My father King Lot, led many battles across the ocean and held many feats along the land itself. Something to which not just any Kingsman can confess or own up to saying.

[ He boasts with a gentle chuckle, unfortunately at his core. Gawain is a war mongering Knight, who finds absolute wonder and gall in battles. The righteousness of ending what he felt were evils. Protecting his lands from other countries, or the people within who were ill mannered and cruel. ]

I have never met a man, more sound and hardy than him. My memories of him were always fond delights of teaching me to raise my sword always with one hand. If I could not do such a thing. Then how was it that I would be come a Knight? I feel though... He had larger plans for me, seeing myself in the future as King of Camelot. However, I would desire no such thing but the eyes of my father that always beheld me. Were full of such admiration and promise, so when it were he died the way that he had.

I of course was not very pleased by the news, let alone my Mother.

Though I will not trouble you with that heated past memory, I will say - have you met my sister Lady Gareth? She too is here upon Avalon.
