[The screen is dark at first, the only thing people will hear is unique sounds before the screen clears up and shows a creature which is the source of said sounds.

It's a moment or two of the Chao, making faces, before an actual voice can be heard.]

What are you even doing?

[And onto the screen is Shadow, in all his black, red and white glory, looking mildly annoyed by his familiar's actions.]

This isn't a toy, and it's on. [He's not so dumb as to not notice that his phone is on, and recording something so... He'll address whoever it might be sending to.]

I highly doubt anyone here would know who I am but, this is Shadow the Hedgehog. If there is anyone by the name Rouge or E-123 Omega here I would like to know.

[It's not every day you see another hedgehog on the network, so Crow spits out the milk he's drinking as he replies to Shadow's message. He hastily tries to wipe away the white streaks from the screen so he can be fully visible.]

You're a hedgehog too?!

[There's a pause before he realizes that his current form makes him look human.]

Oh yeah, I've been stuck in this form without being able to change back, but I'm definitely a hedgehog!

[He flicks the small ears on top of his head just to emphasize the point.]

Anyway, I haven't heard of either of them and if they're hedgehogs too, I definitely would've noticed by now!

[Yeah Shadow is, not exactly not believing him, but he totally does not believe this human.]

They're not hedgehogs, Rouge is a bat and Omega is a robot.

[It's cool, Crow won't push the issue. Though at the description, he shakes his head.]

A bat and a robot? Nah, it doesn't ring a bell! Are they friends of yours?

[Getting Shadow to use the word friend to describe anyone is the most impossible thing to have happen.]

[Crow smiles, somehow understanding the phrasing regardless. He can be stubborn like that too.]

Well, I hope you reunite with them soon. You might luck out if you happen to be here for a while.

[ He's been here for nearly half a year already and hasn't been so lucky, but others have!]

And what's that impish-looking creature? Is that your familiar? Never seen anything like it.

A chao? And what exactly is that? Not that it makes it any less cool!

[Or cute, but Crow will never say that!]

It's this. [And he's moving the device to show the chao off, yeah that's about the most explanation one is going to get out of Shadow.]

They don't all look like this one though.

And what exactly is that? So, they all have different features? Kind of like personality traits?

[That's basically Shadow's way of saying he doesn't have the answer to anything Crow is asking.]
