Hi there.
I'm Dr. Takuto Maruki, and for those of you I haven't met, I'm a licenced counsellor in my home world. That means I help people with their mental burdens and prior trauma by offering advice and a confidential space where they can speak about whatever is bothering them.

I recently registered myself as a counsellor here in Avalon, so if any of you have any problems — whether that's with ongoing events here, your arrival, or even problems from your home world — you can drop by and chat to me. I'll do my best to help, or at least provide a space for you to vent.

I'm located on the outskirts of town and my office will be open every day. You can come as often or as rarely as you need! It's all up to you.

Well, it seems like a good use of my time.

And, huh, me? ... I guess the vernal soul pools were rather strange. They allowed us to become part of other people's memories. So, for example, several people here became students at the high school where I worked and saw the things I did in my time there.

No problem. They were quite fascinating from a psychological perspective. We didn't have anything like that in my world.

If you don't mind me asking, where were you?

there's probably some world out here with whacky things
we got to see a lot of interesting places
i even got to see memories of my home


but uh - i was on a planet called prismatica

but the city i was in called lunatia and it was kinda
futuristic
sci-fi like!! i guess?

anyway for a few days a month people transformed into something sometimes or like
idk had parts of stuff??
based on the moon that was up

and a few times i got really tall and was a dragon haha
and if i leave here that's probably where i'll go back to
so idk if i will ever get home

and im weirdly ok with that i guess

How long were you there?

it was easy to get used to bc it happened at like
expected times
so like you knew when it was coming, you know?

not like other weird things that happen
i'm not the only person from there that's here
i know of a couple others
and there's probably more i don't know

but i was there well over a year
so like
the people i met there were important

I can imagine they would be. People can be very quick to form attachments, after all, especially in strange circumstances.

everyone knew they were in it together
so most ppl were pretty nice

i liked it there tho
i feel like i grew up lots
bc of that place
and i learned a lot

and i hope i get to
do that here too :)
