[Archer has looked better, but this is a post he doesn't want to leave for later when he's looking better. Besides, it's not like he cares if he looks a bit like a truck ran over him.]

I should explain my side of what happened with Caster. I don't owe it to anyone, but I just feel like it's a good idea to bring some alternative perspective.

[Not that he likes explaining any aspect of his life to the public, but here he goes.]

Both Caster and I were part of what's called a Holy Grail War, summoned as heroic spirits from the past or the future. Her life was ended by me, after I betrayed her for my own goals and purposes. I had no reason to kill her Master, however, as he could have just continued on with his life after the war.

[There was always a but. Which was the reason for all of this mess.]

But I did. Not because I wanted to, but because he refused to stop fighting. He might have wanted to avenge Caster as the two of them were very close. I had no choice but to fight back. Had he just walked out, I would have left him be.

[He pauses for a moment, kind of looking like in pain because who knew getting stabbed hurt this much (he did, he's been there).]


I would argue that I am not the villain of this story, even if I am the cause of his death. I gave him a chance to leave and he did not take it. Besides... compared to everything Caster herself did during the war, it was really not that much.


[If anyone needs clarification on that, they can ask. He doesn't start explaining.]


Oh. Rin and I are opening a restaurant sometime this month, after I've properly healed. Just though I'd mention, in case anyone is interested in some good food.

Not the smallest fight, but not the largest either. Most people never knew it happened and that was the point. Secrecy, being undetected by people with no magic.

At least you are being honest about talking about this right now. I haven’t met Caster just yet, but I might want not to have a run-in with her for the time being just to be safe.

It might be for the best.

[Though a lot of people have taken a liking to her so meeting her might not end up being so catastrophic later.]

Our inspiration comes mostly from Chinese restaurants. We will have Chinese dishes, that will be cooked by Rin and I will cook various other kinds of dishes.

That sounds really interesting! I never had Chinese food a lot back home, but I would love to visit the restaurant once it opens.

Are there any menu recommendations you have that I could try out?

If you've never had Chinese food, then fried rice is definitely something you need to try. You can choose several different kinds of toppings for it, like shrimp or chicken.
