i'm not kidding!!!! i only found out like 5 minutes ago that one of my friends is dating somebody!!!! i'm a million years behind and that's NOT acceptable. we need to spill. so consider this a place to air all your romance related whatevers so we can all talk about it. i'll say it again!!! i'm not kidding!! u can even post on anon and ask for advice about stuff if you really want.

i just need to recharge on gossip!! i'm running dry!! SO LET'S TALK ABOUT IT

In my experience, our world in particular is an oddity, the exception to everyone else's rule.

It won't last forever, though. When everything's restored, he'll probably go back to being dead, and I'll have to start over again from the beginning. Assuming that's what happens at the end of this...

like... what IS gonna happen at the end of all this? when stuff gets restored. are we just gonna get plonked right back where we came from? can they even do that?

Unfortunately, though, just getting put back where we were before isn't the ideal situation for everyone. Especially those who were dead before they got here.

yeah that's a whole existential mess i really don't think i have the brainpower to figure out. not without getting a migraine anyway.

Now imagine how they must feel, knowing they're stuck between a confined and limited existence here and certain death elsewhere. It is a mess, just one that certain people have no choice but to come to terms with. We're just lucky we're not among that number.

Someone I know is in that position, actually... He's been trying hard to make the best of it, but I can tell it weighs on him. Same guy I was talking about before, incidentally.

wonder if it's worth asking the king about it. or that merlin guy. i feel like if anyone'd know how that works or what we can do abt it, it'd probably be one of those two?

It might be. But frankly, I don't trust either of them. We'd get an answer, like as not, but whether it is the truth or not, I'd prefer to verify for myself. They could also be omitting facts from the situation to win over our cooperation, too.
