But yeah, just go have fun and be a teen. There’s still a lot of growing to do and things to learn. I didn’t really think about the getting older part, aside from like... just wanting to be an adult eventually, I guess? I was already doing a lot of stuff on my own because my parents weren’t home a lot.

And you're the same too? I had to do a lot of stuff on my own when I was younger. It's still weird people are telling me to act my age when I was trying to act older before.

I know that there are people who would always think that way about me. Even when I get older, there would always be people who will underestimate me but it's strange to think I'm not going to be a kid pretty soon.

There is no concept of a "birthday" in the Galactic Alliance, so I do not know when the 14th cycle would have occurred. It is clearly not necessary to "do" anything. Optional.

Nevertheless, it is always prudent to focus on self-improvement and eliminate anything unneeded. If you have no duty nor mission at present, the next most efficient use of time is to prepare for the future when you inevitably will.

I think my 14th birthday was just like all my others. My dads would get me a cake, and everyone in the Adventurer's Guild would come together and wish me a happy birthday! My wishes never come true, but it's fine. Just being surrounded by people like that's good enough for me!

I will agree with many of the people here, just try not to overthink things even as we grow older. I know what’s it like to having grow up faster than most of my friends back home due to the circumstances in my life and it did took me a while to slowly take things a few at the time.
