[ There are a few seconds of silence at the beginning of the message. For speed - and unfamiliarity with text-type devices - Elsa has decided to speak... and yet true to form, for a good several seconds she isn't entirely sure what she should say. In fact, it's only just as the listener might start to think that nothing's going to be said at all that there's a small, throat-clearing cough from the would-be speaker. ]

Hello.

[ An audible sound of skin on skin as Elsa slaps her hand against her face. A small, embarrassed laugh follows. ]

I'm sorry. I confess I'm not entirely sure of what I wanted to say. But I thought perhaps I should send out a message here. It's a little hard to believe, but I've been here for three months now, and I've barely met a single person.

[ That's not quite true; she's met a lot of people, but it's been more in passing. Even the famously introverted former queen is starting to realize she needs more than that. ]

I'm Elsa. Most of my time has been spent practicing my magical abilities, in the hope of being able to help my loved ones back at home. But I'm trying to find a little more balance. After all, it looks like we're going to be here for a while.

So tell me: what do people do around here for fun?

I haven't been here for very long myself, but I have enjoyed trying the different foods they have here. It's certainly a change of pace from what I'm used to.

[The fact that Yuyuko is alive again after being a ghost for so long is another change of pace, but she'd rather focus on the now.]

What is the food like where you're from?

[ For the most part, Elsa has found the culinary fare here to be similar in spirit to what she might be able to get back at home - not that she has been particularly adventurous since her arrival! She should try eating at different establishments, she thinks. ]

Well, for one thing, we don't eat as much bread as they do here. Rice is our main staple. It's quite versatile, and you can even make sweets out of it.

[Not that Yuyuko minds an excuse to eat more bread...]

I see. I'm sure that if Avalon was full of rice dishes, I would feel the same way - I know of it, but it isn't something I've eaten often.

[ A bright smile creeps onto her lips. ]

But, you know... you can make sweets out of bread, too!

It certainly seems that way! It would be fun to try them all. [And she really does mean to try them all.]

I wonder what kind of tea would be best with most of them, though...

I'd say it would depend on what kind of flavor the sweet bread has, compared to the tea.

If you would like, we can try some of the cafes sometime.

My, that would be fun! There's certainly a bigger variety of those here than where I'm from.

[At least, there are more places she can go now that she's no longer a ghost.]
