So I have two questions for you all, one pretty heavy and the other well. It's a question.

[They make a clicking sound with their tongue before they continue.]

Question one is simply, why are we even voting for the wussy way with this whole thing? Like the other options might be better than giving in to some weirdo, or whatever the whole deal with hearts is. And aren't we here to like, fight or something? So why is that option not viable to the lot of you?

[They let those questions hang there before continuing.]

On a less, I guess less serious note? How screwed up is it for this place to give blood magic to a kid?

Well, I was with the Monsters, who were trapped underground. And the only way to get out is with a human SOUL so... You can't really use a SOUL while the person is alive after all.

That's terrible! What kind of curse or spell would require a human soul to set them free?

[Chara claps their hands together and laughs at Ken's response.]

Oh, it was! I ruined a marriage by dying and got at least six others killed too.

No, I meant that you don't think it was! It created a lot of other terrible things and yet, you don't think it matters!

[Because he's not even sure if he can convince Chara that their life mattered or not at this point.]

[Somewhere in the back of Ken's mind, he couldn't help but wonder a few things. If Chara was anything like how he was back then? Maybe they weren't that much different.]
