People in his world don't seem to know about Avatars, though, is the thing — either that or the Sages never found him to tell him so because he was a poor kid on the streets, ran away from home when he was eight... But it seems like— like his world is out of touch with nature.

I've, uh— been there. Sort of. Not really. I've been to his memories. There were these— magic flower-tub things... before you got here... A-Anyway, I was able to visit his memories like in a dream but I remember all of it. Y'know how Ba Sing Se is so built up and you don't really feel like you're outside even though you are? His city was like that, but like, even worse. No trees, just built up sprawls of tall buildings... I saw it all from the roof of his school. It was cool to see, but— it looked like proof that I was right about his people being out of touch with nature. Like it's not valued as much there. Too much technology. And so I think that's why so few people know about this, uh— kind ofbending that Gokudera and his friends can do. They all have elemental powers, too, but it's just— different. They call them Dying Will Flames. But they're not just fire, like his friend Yamamoto has Rain Flames and it looks like waterbending sort of. I've seen him do it. There are more than four elements they can bend, though. It's not the same. But it's— similar enough, it seems...
