Audio only to start, then video. UN: Scarred_Face
[At first it sounds like dead air. The camera is either blocked or aimed at a black space with little or no direct light.]
[Then slowly music builds. A solo violin playing what sounds like a slow almost dirge like song. Sad. Wistful, perhaps. Mournful, certainly. But as the volume reaches the maximum it was going to go, about the level you'd use for background music while doing chores, the tempo picks up and the music gets almost harsh, almost... violent. Rough sharp motions of the bow over strings.]
[After a moment there is no almost about it. without voice or words or sight the sound conveys anger and violence, the bow drawn across the strings violently, as if stabbing or slashing.]
[Then on one harsh and almost painful note it stops. The vibration of that last note hangs in the air with no other sounds, making the silence its own violence. It's own tension. Then a slight shuffle of fabric and a card drops into view. The camera's focus takes a moment before the words on the card can be read.]
[The card is dark dark grey. There is an almost black impression of the moon in one corner. Across the front, in red, are two words. "I'm waiting." And nothing else. Another rustle of fabric and the feed ends.]
((Possible CW for violence mentions and talk of blood in threads.))

[Mio was.]
[The camera was once again aimed at a dark surface when the response came, the card gone.]
"Why would I waste my time on such a thing?" [Came the perfectly articulated cold voice. Horror game? Her voice could have been in one. Not as one of the creatures that looked like a monster, but as the human who actually was one. Not all monsters were outwardly, well, monstrous, after all.]
