Well, I've tried talking to my familiar because someone said that that should work. All I got was goat noises in response.

Magic is only sleight of hand and ghost stories where I'm from, so I suppose it stood out. You could try talking to plants, and computers. [See? See that? He didn't even fumble on that word! Mitsuhide isn't the only genius around, okay, okay!] Clearly animals don't talk back to you.

Try healing someone or reading minds. And it might help to ask others what they do and how they practice.

Magic was only done by monsters back home, so it's all new to me. And do you really want me to try healing someone and then have it not work and they like, die?
