Good afternoon! I haven't met many of you yet, so - I'm Childe.

[It's another rainy day, and Childe is bored. He's been keeping himself busy, sure, but there's only so much he can do by himself!]

So, I won't bore anyone with all the details - all you really need to know is that I'm new here and I'm trying to learn the ropes of this new magic I've got. It's pretty different from what I've trained in!

So, I'd like some [test subjects] people who might be willing to help me out. I've been working on brewing potions, but I never bothered to learn much alchemy back home so I'm starting from scratch.

[He laughs brightly, seemingly not at all bothered by admitting he has no idea what he's doing.]

I've been testing them on myself, so it's nothing too dangerous if you might be worried about that. If you're interested, just let me know, and you'll be compensated for your time.

You wish to learn alchemy? I can definitely offer up so assistance if you'd like. Testing them out on oneself first and foremost isn't a bad idea, as I have done so many a time back in Mondstadt, though having a test subject is always better in terms of seeing the side effects.

But perhaps we could both learn a thing or two together.

[It could, theoretically, be an entirely different Mondstadt! But, well. It could also be the one he knows.]

I'm definitely open to the idea of a study buddy, though, even if we're not from the same world.
