Ah, I'm new in the area, and I understand that I'm going to be here a while. Couple of questions I was hoping someone could help me out with.

I heard a rumor that you can get paid for going to school here: true or false?
Is there a certain process, or form I should be filling out to get housing other than the hotel?

And. [The voice hesitates a moment before carrying on at a slightly different pitch.] Is there anyone here who specializes in prosthetics?

I appreciate you listening, and I'd be grateful for any help given.

Heh. Well, apparently it's a new development to elemental magic? Maybe? I definitely don't have it figured out yet. At the moment all I seem to be able to manage is to crush things. [Uneasy? Maybe a little.] I can't even get them to form a ball when it happens. I'm being really careful about where and how I practice. The last thing I want to do is ruin someone's day.

It'd be useful in a fight, though, huh? Being able to crush swords and shields?

[Or armor. But he doesn't want to think about that. So he speaks lightly and steers away from that in particular.]

Or stealing them from an enemy. Or using them to shield bystanders. When I get better at it, anyway.

I'm hoping that I can eventually learn how to construct things with it. It would make things a lot easier for some folks if I could make parts or struts, or nails or something out of a bunch of broken scrap metal.

That sounds like a good idea for a shop. Magical Metallurgy, you could call it! Set up a big ole metal statue out front and name it uhm...

Oh, make it a lizard and name it the alloy-gator!
