[As the video starts, Akihiko can be seen wearing his red hood, but the camera is a bit jerky, as if he's filming it while running. ...Because he is. Akihiko didn't waste any time in getting his training regimen adapted to his new surroundings.]
Got a couple questions for people that are familiar with this place. First off, where's a good place to buy protein powder? Didn't have any on me when I was brought here and I'd like to figure out a replacement.
Secondly, there a gym with a boxing ring or something around here? Training is good and all but there's no replacement for actual sparring.
Thirdly, I guess related to the last one, but anyone open to sparring sessions?
[There's an awkwardly long pause for a moment as he jogs, trying to figure out how to end the video before just abruptly cutting.]

[Although, Akihiko was someone was already in great shape so he had nothing to worry about.]

[Akihiko blinks for a moment before slowing down and eventually stopping, his free hand coming to his neck to check his pulse.]
Figured I may as well do both. Helps with breath regulation.

[Akihiko takes a moment to regard the reply for a moment before offering a friendly grin. She seemed like she'd just be entering High School, but definitely held herself with the confidence of someone who knew what they were talking about and that's all he really cared about. When he did respond, he did so with a friendly smile.]
Sounds like a plan. I'm Akihiko Sanada, by the way. Mind if I ask what kind of experience you have?

[She offers a brief smile.]
But if you're asking if I've seen battle, the answer's yes. My world isn't as peaceful as this one.

I mean, I do, but the powder you can mix into drinks and stuff to help supplement that sort of thing...
[He trails off as he notices Alice turning off the video, slowing down until he stops.]
...You okay?

[Akihiko blinks a bit, deciding to take the comment that this guy just hasn't seen much boxing. After all, with how old and prevalent the sport is, he finds it hard to wrap his head around the idea that he would never have heard of it at all.]
I'd be more than happy to help you learn if you'd be interested.

I usually use a spear, but being able to fight with just my hands seems to be useful.

I can take you on for sparring, sure. But it'll hurt. I spar like I fight, and my claws are always out.

[The phrasing catches Akihiko off guard for half a second before returning the remark with equal enthusiasm.]
I wouldn't have it any other way. It's no fun if you're not going all out!

[Huh... kind of hard to see his face inside the hood, but if Makoto is anything, it's trusting. (Especially with dreamy-sounding guys.)]
Hey, there. There are a couple of health food stores around here [addresses included]; I was mostly look at teas and spices, but they should have protein powders there too. And I'm not a full-on boxer, but I'd be up for sparring too, if you're still looking for partners.
[She'll even bring her own bear, not that she knows that's a plus yet.]
Re: Video | UN: lightningblossom
[Akihiko slows to a stop, pulling his hood down to wipe at his brow as he checks the addresses, giving Makoto a good long look at his face.]
Excellent, thank you! This will help immensely.
[He taps at the phone, saving the addresses for later before turning his attention back to Makoto. She didn't look like a fighter at first glance, but he knows better than to judge a book by its cover when it comes to that sort of thing.]
Can't have too many sparring partners. Mind if I ask what kind of experience you have?

The more the merrier! [He smirks.] Boxing is my preferred style, but I would prefer whatever you're most experienced with. I've traveled the world fighting people of all sorts of styles, learning and adapting as I go.

Are you actually another Caesar or is that supposed to reference something else?
[ Just straight up ignoring the whole list of meathead questions. Sorry, dude. ]

[Akihiko regards the response with mild confusion for a moment before attempting to formulate a response. Not sure how relevant Persona mechanics were to this, or if he should be spreading the knowledge anyway.]
No, my name is Akihiko Sanada. My apologies if I caused any confusion.

You wouldn't happen to know someone named Ryohei Sasagawa, would you?

Sorry but, no that doesn't ring any bells. Were they a Gekkoukan High Student?

I haven't really seen any gyms or anything like that yet, but I'll keep an eye out.

[Akihiko had seen a couple anthropomorphic animal people around, but a duck was a new one. In fact he did a double take that caused him to trip over something, stumbling face first into a light pole. He takes a second to collect himself before verbally responding.]
Thanks, that would be very appreciated. [If nothing else, a gym would be nice just to avoid incidents like that.]

I will.

[Between the username and the odd cadence of the response, there was something... off about this person at first glance. Not bad, just... different, prompting Akihiko to change up his response.]
That's great! My name's Akihiko. What's yours?
