okay, so for my fellow animal magic users... we need a better name, how about beast warriors?

how far have you gotten in using your abilities? has anyone tried turning into a dinosaur, because i gotta say i'm so fuckin' tempted my dudes

and like if i get stuck like that i guess i'm just camping out in the forest a bit, like whateverr right? let's push our limits!

[ Sitting on a log outside of Brocéliande, Jolyne pets her napping companion as she thinks what to do next after zipping up that post. Considering she didn't come from home she's not having the usual freak out, more like she's just thinking about how to go about looking for anyone she knows that might have made it here.

I think Magician sounds cooler than Mage. I've got light magic, so it's not very cool... Anyways, do you know if there is anything to do aside from getting lost in the forest looking for cups with holes in them?

why not? it's gotta do with like illusions and shit right? i mean, i played with that a little in the last place i was, seems like it could be pretty handy.

Mage reminds me of video games. I suppose it would be better to be a video game character than a Magician... So, good point. So it's just a magical way of... lying to people? I don't care if it's gold or rupees, I just want to go on a quest so I'll be better at this light magic... I don't even know what or where my companion is.

lying is such a harsh word... wouldn't it be more like clever distractions? i'm sure there's something you could figure out in the moment.

you haven't met your companion? harsh. i would offer the chance to practice together even tho our styles are different, but i don't know the first thing about light magic... i guess i could ask my companion about it if need be.

yeah and he could possess people and make them do things. He’s the biggest asshole I’ve ever met... so I don’t want to end up associated with him by any means. That’s not a bad idea. Like some strange mutant crocodile, seal... dinosaur thing. Reminds me of a poor representation of the Loch Ness monster. I’d be excited if it were mothman.

Got a problem with gators? It’s definitely not a gator. It had like a... seal face... like a dog mouth and big webbed paws. Damn thing kept coming and going... Seriously? A unicorn? Nah it’d probably sound all gargled or whatever, like the way insects buzz. I bet his voice sounds like a buzz... as long as moth man is moth sized. If he were moth sized he’d probably sound high pitched.

Why? Were you swimming somewhere you shouldn't have been? They generally don't cause trouble on their own. It's weird alright. Well, if I can find it, I'll try taking a picture of it and posting it on the network. It'd probably sound like a grown man with a voice convertor.

[ There were more than a few things that indicated this was someone he was familiar with. The most prominent being the thoughts about trying to turn into a dinosaur, sillystring and beast warriors. He could have been doing something better with his time but if there was a chance that he wasn't here alone he didn't mind expending the effort.

Seeing her sitting there and talking to that small unicorn was a relief, Mista waiting for her to finish her thought before approaching. Of all the people that could have shown up here it was Jolyne and his relief was so great that he wouldn't even entertain the thought that she might not know him here. He closed the distance between them rather quickly, only pausing to catch his breath once he was standing in front of her. ]

Thank god, I thought I was the only one that was here and I was ready to lose my fucking mind!

[ Seeing Mista as he approaches fills Jolyne with relief, seeing that he's here and knows who she is. It's something that makes her nothing less than overjoyed, but that doesn't mean that she won't mess with him if given the chance... and this was certainly the chance.

Looking up at him there's that tilt of the head. ]

[ If he hadn't already been at her side it would have been enough to make him stop, to turn around and walk away but now he had the unfortunate task of trying to cover his ass. He'd just assumed that he'd gotten lucky, that at least one person he'd gotten to know was here.

The look on his face was clearly one of disappointment, Mista trying to wipe it from his face and only managing a weak smile as he brought himself upright. Shit, how to cover? He knew that he needed to but how really was the question.

Finally he let out an awkward laugh, hand coming up to the back of his neck. ]

Shit, sorry, for a second you looked like someone else. I...didn't mean to interrupt...

[ Fuck. ]

[ Holy shit, that look... it was like a dagger in her heart wasn't it? Also his poor attempt to cover it up... she couldn't really keep this up, not with him. Standing now, she closed the distance between them and brought a hand up to his cheek as she kissed him. ]

It's me... It's me, I'm sorry... I was just trying to have a bit of fun.

[ In that short period of time Mista's emotions really ran the gamut, joy to disappointment to loneliness and then relief. It would be followed by something else momentarily but for now he was just fine sinking into that kiss and pulling her in for a hug. ]

Oh thank god, I really didn't know what I was going to do if I was here alone...

[ And there was the anger. ]

...but seriously what the fuck kind of sick joke was that?!

[It's never a bad day when a lovely little number catches his eye and it's endearing how she's trying to figure out what a horse eats. Unicorn. Whatever.

He abruptly turns back to make sure his silver maned companion isn't about to horn him the kneecap again-it doesn't ever hurt and it's not malicious. He doesn't understand what sometimes provokes his newfound pet. Doesn't think too hard on it because it never deters him. It's been a common trend for about 50% of the citizens he's tried to flirt with though and he keeps his eye on the beast.

Maybe it's the smaller unicorn that's catching its own dark eyes. Not that it matters-it gives him ample opportunity to speak to her now and that's all that matters.]

I'm sure its interests lie more in the company of a beautiful woman than in any meal, bella.

[ She didn't even skip a beat to respond to the familiar blond, but something about his approach... it seemed like he didn't remember her. It's something she'd gone through before in Lunatia, so she knows to take it in stride for the meanwhile.

The little unicorn that had been laying there peacefully took to standing now, walking over to the one by Caesar's side with natural curiosity. ]

Looks like they're enjoying this moment.

[ Standing now, Jolyne takes this time to close the distance between them with a flirty smile. ]

Not falls for it. That's not giving her enough credit. She matches it. Takes it and twists it back against him and suddenly, he doesn't mind the unicorn to his side that gave him the opening. Maybe this familiar isn't such a bad thing.

The unicorn itself? Is content sniffing its far smaller, magical companion. For as reactive as its owner is, Big!Unicorn isn't all that perturbed. It whinnies and presses a hoof against the ground, making whatever conversation horses can.]
