[ The video is fairly rough and difficult to parse what's going on, at first. Apologies to anyone with motion sickness, but at least it's really brief. Eventually it comes into focus on Ovelia's face, who is looking just off-camera to make sure everything is working properly.

Her hair is being swept by a breeze, and both she and Agrias, whom is also leaning into view, are lightly... bouncing? Or, more appropriately from the sound of a delicted "kweh kweh!" in the background, they're riding. On chocobos. ]

There we are... You see, Ser Agrias, tis as I was shown and said unto you. These devices are not so truly impenetrable in their machinations. Tis simple enough to learn with practice!

[ Ovelia laughs, brightly, gesturing towards Agrias. ]

Since we are, as I am told, 'live', I shall make introductions on behalf of myself and my knight. I am Princess Ovelia Atkasha, of Ivalice. And this is my knight and protector, Ser Agrias.

[ She specifically pans the camera to show Agrias riding beside her. Agrias has yet to fully understand how these trinkets operate, but she at least has a rudimentary grasp thanks to said princess. ]

Ah, yes. Well met, one and all. As the lady has mentioned, I am Agrias Oaks, knight of Ivalice. 'Tis a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

My lady, you are certain that they can see and hear us? 'Tis such a strange method of making introductions...

[ Ovelia made a slight pout ]

Do not call the customs of others strange, Ser Agrias, tis simply their way...

[ There's but a brief sigh. ]


Aye, that much is certain. I shall simply have to adjust.

[ Slowly. Very, very slowly. Which was fine. They had time now...

Ovelia turned the camera back to her and gave what appeared to be a... wink and a peace sign? Before signing off. ]

'Tis a gesture of this culture, as well. I was told it creates an impression of... endearment.

[ A small hum. ] Though the word they used to tell of it was "cute", to be more precise.

I should be happy, then. That you've taken to learning so much of the ways of these lands.

One is never ill-suited to learn, Agrias. [ A gentle chiding, shaking her head. ]

Truly, if you could learn both sword and scripture as well as you do, you can learn these, yes?

[Agrias may have been a seasoned war veteran, experienced in handling a multitude of weapons and gear... But her skills in navigating social interactions would remain sorely lacking. It was even more obvious for Ovelia, who quite easily knew her best.

The princess had stopped at outright commanding her, yet even so, Agrias would see her request fulfilled.]

[She raises her hand in the same gesture as before. Simple enough, although her attempt at a smile is far less natural.]

[ Ovelia tried to stifle it, but the laughter came from her regardless, bright and sunny as the sky above. ]

Ah, well, practice shall make perfect, in the end!

[Was improvement so sorely needed?!]

A-Aye, and 'tis likely that we'll have much time to ourselves.

A strange sensation, I must admit. Long has it been since you and I have known peace.

'Tis certainly what you deserve, after having fought so hard for so long.

[ Ovelia, of course, made no mention of her own relation to the matter. But that was almost expected, in many ways... ]

To lay down your sword, a privilege so few knights have in their youth...

[It was really starting to hit her at this point.

That they had been so fiercely torn away from Ivalice and its strife.]

My sword has ever been yours to command, My Lady. And will remain as such while I continue to draw breath.

Then my command is to rest, Ser Agrias... [ She shook her head, her smile softening as she brought her chocobo to rest, turning her gaze to the sunset ahead of them... ]

If this place is to be our home... All I wish for, then, is for us to live in peace...

[She matched Ovelia's gaze, before her eyes feel down to both her hands. Hands that known much fighting and bloodshed, would now know peace.

Such a strange outcome, this.

But it ultimately mattered little. Agrias might not be able to serve Ivalice, but she could still serve the one most important to her.]

... Should we make our way back into the city proper, or...

[ Should they just wait there, a moment longer? She didn't want to stay out in the fields after dark, of course, but... it really was beautiful... ]

I... should like to remain here for but a moment longer.

'Twould be a shame to waste such a sight.

[It truly was a wonderful view, one that she hadn't had a chance to appreciate for so very long. They remained in relative quiet, taking the moment in.

So enthralled was Agrias that she didn't even notice her red chocobo inching ever closer to Ovelia's, bringing the princess and her knight ever closer together.]

[ Ovelia hadn't noticed either, at least until their knees touched, and she let out a sudden gasp. ]

Ah, are you both tired? Or restless, perhaps, despite the long walk?

[ And of course completely miss their intentions. ]

The day has been long, and much has happened.

[Agrias was none the wiser herself, of course.]

Mayhaps we should tarry no longer. Surely we will have more opportunities to witness these sunsets.

Mm, yes. Let us bring these two back to stable and ready ourselves for dinner, then.

[ It wasn't as if she wouldn't enjoy the ride back, either. So maybe the intentions of their birds weren't entirely for nothing. ]
