I've been told there was, at some point, an audience with this elusive King Arthur character. Kindly advise me on how to secure another one of those, be it public or private, as there are rather important questions that most folk I've met at the moment have yet to answer sufficiently.

That said, has going along with every other claim brought forth for the state of things here been going well for you "veteran" outsiders? Surely I am not alone in harboring a number of doubts about this setup.

You bind a person's character to a name they never chose? Perhaps that has more value where you are from, but it isn't so for me.

No; where I am from it is the parents who give the child a name. That name is kept, not changed.

I mean...maybe they saw a defining characteristic and thought it could symbolize something grand. Like...a beacon or a warm hearth; something that draws people to you so you'd be surrounded by friends.

The point is, sometimes parents choose names based on what they want for their children. I mean...my name means 'great.'

The goals at the present moment are the gathering of pertinent information and formulating plans; whether or not this involves engaging with more or less people has yet to be really determined. While this may indeed be quite the gumbo of species and sorts, it won't do to get too tangled up and lose focus right at the onset.

Not really. Whether I am liked or not is not the focus at the moment. It might make things easier in ways to be liked, but not in others.
