[Hey look, it's Thancred, finally making his presence widely known. He's spent the past few weeks learning the lay of things without announcing himself. Old habits die hard, really.]
So, this place has magic, right? I may need help with mine.
[There's a pebble floating above his hand for just a moment.]
I can make things float. But I haven't had magic for... a while. But that's a long story I'm not getting into on here.
[There's a chitter from the squirrel looking creature on his shoulder.]
Right. I'm Thancred, and this is my familiar. He's a nutkin from my world.
Anyway, if anyone is willing and able to help with some magic lessons, I'd appreciate it, and find some way to reimburse you.
