[ After being given a quest, Ereshkigal had decided to go ahead and do it on her own. It was very clear the quest was designed to be dangerous and she'd wanted to ensure none would get caught in her own personal feud with Morganna... Which had been a fatal mistake. ]
Greetings. I am in dire need of assistance and would be very grateful should any of you still listen to me.
[ It is a blessing nobody can hear her whine through text. ]
I am in the Forest of the Felled and I am lost. I came here after Morganna gave me a quest, but I believe my words angered her and she led me into a trap. It appears she placed upon me a curse that makes it impossible for me to find my way. I have been here for over twenty-four now and my strengths are waning as a result of dehydration and hunger.
Should you be afraid of facing Morganna's wrath for assisting me, I understand. I shall face my own death with dignity if so. I only ask someone come after the kettle in my possession to finish this quest and establish a land of the dead after I am gone. I will endeavor to write instructions on how to manage such a place with what time I have left.
[ Not overly dramatic at all, nope. ]

Though I am curious to know what you did to deserve her wrath, but you don't have to answer.

[ ... She's not proud of it, alright. She did still believe those words to be partly true, but she also knew judging a goddess so hastily was wrong. Losing her temper was so unlike her, but that couldn't be helped now. ]

[He doesn't really know how their conversation went so he won't judge either side, really.]
Send the signal now. I'm close to the forest. Also keep your mind open and don't be alarmed if you hear my voice, I'll send you messages through cognitive magic to help with tracking.

[ She was glad he didn't linger on what had happened with Morganna, she was ashamed her own inability to control her emotions had put everything in jeopardy. She used her light magic to create a pillar of Light. Hopefully it went up very high into the sky and was bright enough it'd make it easy to find her. ]
It is done. I hope it will suffice.

[Archer makes his way to the forest. None of the creatures pay him any mind or whispers things in his ear so walking there is relatively simple. Once he's closer, however, he sends her a message through cognitive magic, mostly to alert her the noises approaching are friendly and not the fae playing tricks on her.]
I'm here. Should take a few more minutes. Are you alright?
[Thanks to his magic upgrade Ereshikigal should feel that the connection is two way and she can reply to his message.]

I-I'm alright thank you. I haven't moved from my spot ever since I contacted you.
[ She didn't want to risk getting even more lost. ]

Good.
[He doesn't talk too much and instead makes his way over. He has a bag with a sandwhich and some water with him.]
I wasn't sure what to take with me, but I brought you something to eat, at least, since you said you've been here for a good while.
no subject
I... [She was speechless and very quietly took the food handed over to her.] Thank you...
[ That was very sweet. She was going to start eating right away to make sure she didn't have the time to cry, okay. ]

[Well it's not like he would have wanted her to starve on their way back. Especially if the fae still gave trouble enough that even Archer would be affected.]
So what is it that you set out to do here? Maybe we can finish what it was before heading back.

It's one of three parts in the quest Morganna gave me. [She looked to the forest around them.] I must harvest six silver flowers that grow near the stone giant. They only bloom during the highest of noon under the sun.
[ She wasn't sure what "highest of noon" meant exactly, she figured that just meant when the sun peaked at noon. Goddesses of Death aren't really familiar with the sun. ]

[Archer was there when the Stone Giant did what it did. He witnessed the whole thing and he doesn't seem happy at the subject of it.]
Before you say it, I'm not afraid of Morganna. I met her once and asked her to remove a curse, but otherwise I'm not sure I want to become her ally.

[ It was past noon, unfortunately. Perhaps another time. ]
The way she behaved- [A pause.] Morganna cares very little for the souls the giant has destroyed or may destroy in the future. [She looked down.] This was the other reason I contacted her. She knows how to prevent it from ever threatening anyone again, but she has refused to help me on this matter following my outburst.
[ She's very much ashamed and wish she had managed to keep her calm. ]

[He has quite a convenient magic for some situations.]
Lady Morganna isn't the easiest to deal with. I'm quite sure even if you had kept your temper she would have made things difficult on you. She is the mother and goddess of all Fae, so her being whimsical isn't a surprise.
[But...]
I do wish to help in trying to shut down the giant completely. I was there to witness it absorb the souls. I attempted to stop it, but there were too little of us there, because majority was helping either evacuate a city or fighting a dragon.

[ He'd mentioned people could call him Emiya in his post, but no preference for either name. She'd rather be sure. ]
Merlin seemed to believe only Morganna can help us with the giant. [She sighed.] When we are back... I will try summoning her again, beg for her forgiveness and see if she agrees to help.
[ That was going to be a severe blow on her pride, but she had to. Her pride mattered less than the souls depending on her. Souls can't fight for themselves. Someone has to protect her.
... Little does she know Morganna has put her on a blacklist and she's just going to face another life-threatening situation trying to summon her again. ]

Either is fine, but I'm going to say Emiya to get used to it properly.
[But if some people want to continue calling him Archer (or Narwhal, he supposed...) he wouldn't complain.]
Make sure to have something personal as a gift to appaese her. The more personal it is the more likely she'll answer with a good mood.

[ She nodded, she'd use that name from now on. ]
I will likely give her my crown. [Her one cool thing... But if that was to protect the dead, she would do it.] It is the most valuable possession of mine and grants me some of Ishtar's authority.
[ She sighed. That was depressing, but it did not matter. ]
