i didn't become like this overnight. it took a lot of heartache and hard work to find in myself the person i wanted to be, for better or worse.

at some point, i just decided i was done playing by anyone else's rules or expectations of me. and there was a lot of pain on the journey to get there.

what i'm saying is, you'll get there, too. eventually. but don't hold yourself to that standard now. just take the steps you can. i'll be there to take them with you.
