[He hadn't actually been expecting money in return here.]

[Well even if this man was just giving it away, there is always some kind of trade involved in these sorts of things.]
no subject
[But yeah, the jars are a pretty good size and packed full.]
no subject
[Even with his large appetite aside, Jade is sure he can find something to do with it. Or even better, let Azul find something to with a bunch of herring.]

[Attached is the address to his apartment. The jars themselves are pretty darn big! So hopefully this person has a good appetite.]

[Never fear, he has the appetite of two to three horses.]
no subject
[Then he best be ready for some pickled fish!]

Greetings.

[The place, while tidy, also doesn't exactly smell.... well the greatest. It smells like fish... strongly like fish. Overwhelmingly fishy.]
no subject
I see you've been really busy with it, huh?
[Even though this was a social call with no ulterior motives, he was already discreetly looking around, mentally taking in whatever info he could, should he be able to use it at a later date.]
no subject
Yeah, it's what happens when you're working with fish.
[Pickling fish and then opening up the jars after x amount of time. The apartment's pretty clean, surprising given that the big guy looks kind of thuggish and not really the type to keep a tidy space.]
They taste good though, I can guarantee that.

[And well, he might as well at this point. But he pulls out his wallet.]
Oh, I should have introduced myself: Jade Leech.

[So yeah, a late night snack or afternoon lunch to be slurrped down all omnomnom!]
Ah- I am Beowulf, pleased to meet you.

[And it'll save on his grocery bills, especially now that he has his brother living with him.]
Beowulf, huh? It is good to meet you. May I ask did you just catch them on a fishing line, by net, or...?

[He gets bored easily and sometimes misses food from home, okay?]
It's not bad either if you want to try some.

[ Though in all fairness, she doesn't particularly blame anyone for not wanting to compete for space against the usual kitchen squad. ]
no subject
[Well this and barbecue. It helps that being on your own for a good chunk of time helps build skills like cooking.]
I'll be waiting at my place then, unless you'd like me to come to you.

[ She just likes being out and about, okay, it's her favorite way to be. ]
no subject
[And he'll have like, several jars of the stuff ready and waiting. He's not Momiya so there's no real fancy prep work going into it. Not that there really needs to be any for this stuff.]
no subject
It doesn't take long before she's there, knocking in a quick cheerful rattle of sound. This time, she has been smart enough to bring a bag of her own to carry things home with; she suspects she's going to be foisted more than one jar, though how many in total, she can't guess yet. Either way, it's not anything she wants to try carrying in her arms alone. ]

Hope you brought your appetite, Master.
[He's all grins, obviously filled with pride over his apparent creations!]
Wouldn't really think you'd be much of one for pickled fish, though.

[ Beggars can't be choosers. And maybe that's not the situation in this Camelot, but there are a great deal of habits that die hard. ]
And as long as you can eat it with rice, I'll probably eat it more than once.
no subject
Not sure about rice, but you probably could? It's usually eaten with bread or as a snack.
no subject
[ Someone would probably call that blasphemy, but Ritsuka is definitely not picky in any sense. ]
I appreciate this, though! You're a lifesaver.
no subject
[Bread made from rice though? He'll have to figure out if that's an actual thing now.]
It's not a problem, but you are making it sound as if you haven't eaten anything for a bit.
[She has been eating... right????]
