Recommendations for what to do with shed antlers, go.

Can they be used for magic? Weapons? Something like that. I've heard they can make good chew toys for carnivores.

And before anyone asks: they are mine, not some deer in the woods. I did not go hunting down something and take its antlers.

Alright, folks, one more question:

What's your favorite food that doesn't include meat? I want to try some new things and am getting bored of the same-old.

Antlers are used in a large number of home decorations.
Back home, I forage in the forest frequently. I've had a man buy them to build a chandelier once.
It would make an excellent knife assuming quality. A good knife has many uses.
How often do you shed them?

[ He knows how often a Japanese deer does but otherworldly deer, who knows? ]

I shed once a year. It would be pretty awful to shed more than that.

Animal products don't get used like this at home, not normally, at least.

That is in line with what is standard for my world's deer.

I would stick with the knife, or else you will have to store and wait for more. You could also drill holes in it and create a curtain hook.

Yes, for either two single panel curtains or one on each side for a two-paneled curtain.

Some do.
I live in a tent back home, so I don't.
That kind of decoration always seemed wasteful to me. If you kill an animal, you shouldn't waste it.

[ It's fine. Riou has to explain it to pretty much everyone, so the "A tent" is enough for him to offer a small explanation. ]

Yes. I was a soldier and spent many years in tents in the Amazon. When the Navy was disbanded by the new government, I moved into a forest in Yokohama and chose to continue living how I was comfortable.

[ Alone in a tent surrounded by booby traps where he only has to be paranoid that people are trying to attack him on the periodic occasion that they actually do because of his status as a hypnosis mic user. /o/ ]

Ah - military. Makes sense.

[ That actually explains a lot of the attitude to Louis. There's not really an active military where he's from, not anymore at least. Not for a long time. Because of the nature of their society, it's unnecessary. But, Louis has an imagination and has read books and watched movies - so he'll have some idea. ]
